I dont think Naruto has any reason to join akatsuki, even if he went evil. This group's ultimate goal is to capture all jinchuri and extraxt the monster from them, essentially killing all jinchuriki who are captured. Therefore, Naruto cannot join them no matter what
Acually that wouldnt happen all they would need is nine tail chakra residue or the silver brothers mainly because obito wouldnt let it happen imagine the war if naruto was with madara and obito💀 and stronger due to much heavier training

1.) Naruto would have destroyed Konoha 2.) Naruto kidnapped Sasuke and became a yandere. (They fall in love with each other.) + Sakura is crying.(Died in the Konoha Destruction.) ✨ ROMANTIC SCENES✨ 3.) Lots of kids 4.) Itachi used to tell Sasuke why he destroyed the Uchiha clan. Itachi is now an uncle. 5.) Children used to call Akatsuki members uncle, aunt or something. 6.) There would be more nosebleed scenes. 7.) Could have been a happier ending. BUT IT WAS ALL ON MY HEAD TwT
He couldn’t have if he wanted to because they would’ve taken him hostage and stole the nine tails for the jutsu and Naruto would be dead and sasuke would be the main character
