In OPM's universe, people become what they are on their thoughts. Saitama can one shot people because that's literally what he wished for, just like how the Crabalante became a giant crab from a human. Saitama can pass his wisdom to gullible Lee who will take everything at face value and implement it really well. Lee is an ideal student for Saitama (unlike his present pupil), remember how Genos overthinks everything and relies on upgraded parts to power up.

The main principle of saitama's strength Is to train monotonously to the point where you go bald. To go bald from training is the key to breaking the limiter. Saitama did that within 2 years. It might vary from person to person though.

That means doing exercises continuously to the point where you are bald and on verge of death. Of course it is my advice to your friend that you don't push your limiter there because that will just increase the potential, but rather break the limiter once you find it, it might take years to break the limiter with the same exercise but the key is to never treat your exercise with utmost importance, treat it as a part of your daily life, treat it as natural as going to poop in morning, treat it as addictive as scrolling through your phone.
