Certainly, If sharks were men, they would build enormous boxes in the ocean, for the little fish...They would teach their little fish that there was an enormous difference between themselves and the little fish belonging to the other sharks...

Excellent adaption of my favorite satirical fable by Brecht. Oh the shark has pretty teeth dear and he shows them a pearly white........ well done :-)

+Embertaph it was exactly what brecht was after, criticising the system and structure. how do I know? Well as a highschool teenagers, me and my friends were under investigation for almost 4 months over our play (one of brecht's) we played in school theatre for our schoolmates.

+Embertaph Actualy, its suits this case more, but unfortunately is a criticism on the human civilisation since its begining... A civilisation that thrives on the exploitation of all exploitable forms of life (including human) and of all exploitable natural resources. We are firstly exploiters and secondly explorers.

Don't listen to UGTLDG, you got it exactly right. Bertolt Brecht was a revolutionary Marxist and ANTIFA! This is clearly a critique of capitalism.

Brecht was two things; obviously, an anti fascist Marxist poet; but what was not mentioned in this video, is that he was also a major drama playwright known for creating "Epic Theater" style modernist drama. As such, he was responsible for a number of major modern era plays. These include "The Three Penny Opera," "The Life of Galileo," "Mother Courage and her Children," etc.

the number of view frightens me about humanity truly awakens ones. It is said that only a minority of a minority will stand up and fight! Then we must be strong! I understand that sometime we feel that its a worthless sacrifice! But a sacrifice is not a sacrifice if you dont impose it to yourself!

about the sacrifice part? its all about giving up a sense of power and comfort in a risk to allow ourselves to expand our awareness..without self sacrifice we would not seek God and such..we would stay in a victim mind set and wait forever to be saved.

@Bulhakas While it's true kids need to understand "What is Marxism?" eventually; they often don't even understand basic politics. Infact, as Brecht himself noted; kids and teenagers naturally *hate* being told to do something and will often spite their mentors by doing the exact opposite of their wishes if they don't like what its saying. As such, Brecht himself rather kids learn alot of the concepts on their own free time and research, exercising critical thinking & skepticism then obedience to the ideal.

Y'know sometimes I hear poetry like this and it's like... man... if you've got something to say, why don't you just say it. Sounds like something's on your mind. Is it less true if you just said it straight up instead of making it into some kind of bizarre story involving sharks and fish? I don't know man. Maybe if you have to turn your political rhetoric into a weird sarcastic metaphor to get people to listen to it, just maybe it's not as big of a deal as you think it is. Life's alright.
