I haven’t done day game for ages religiously but I remember the technique to completely ignore her saying she has a boyfriend and just keep building value and moving through. This exact situation happened to me Sunday. I was looking at longboards at a vans shop. The cute employee at the counter walks up and says don't ride it for liability reasons. We get chatting, she shares stories of her skating, her family and her social life. Meanwhile I'm checking out shirts and ask to go to the changing room. When I come back out, she asks me if I like them. I walk up to her and say - "I'd love to take you and your friends out to some of these festivals we talked about, can I have your number?" She told me she has an extremely jealous boyfriend and that she hates it. She appeared hesitant, but genuine. I told her that's unfortunate, to which she agreed. I then said, I don't mind just being friends - I'd really just love to spend time with you. She then gave me her number. There was a cute black girl I was into(im black too lol) and when first was talking to her I made jokes how she was always standing outside smiling too much and she was dying of laughter. When I came back on friday I got nervous when I saw her at the store with anothe employee, I got nervous and when the employee next to her ask me " if I needed help" and I repsonded with im just looking. I then gained confidence to talk to her and while it was going well, her boss called to get her. I later came back hours later(btw we work in the same mall) to talk to her again and then her boss asked to go work in the back. I also want to mention that I don't even think her supervisor knew about me being there really, so I don't think she pulled the girl for no reason. I later decided to give up on trying to get her in the store and decided to wait until she outside greating people again. The next day shes greeting, We conversate and talk for a bit (but I personally think we should have talk a bit more)to which I ask if I would be able to "communicate" with her again, and she said she had a boyfriend, but I told her we could just be friends to make connections. She then just told me her name on facebook, but I couldn't find it. I feel that she made it up or was maybe being honest and I also felt a bit creepy for going to see her in the store twice.
