When ssb2 was launching it had multiplayer but it was very buggy, you could stay immortal and not be kicked out

if they add npcs that follow your orders and self aiming cannons/cannons can damage now im making a whole base or a war rp

Damm yea that's a possibility it could happen ye but having a rp with npcs would be kinda weird tho ngl but yea the cannon idea is fire but you'd probably have to pay for the cannons and the cannons are definitely not free and they won't be cheap either I bet they will probably cost 200 gems or something but yeah nice ideas
