If the Fire Emblem characters existed: Marth: Melee's one Roy: Melee but more rocky Ike: Brawl's one Robin: The Awakening theme Lucina: Awakening but more woodwinds Chrom: Awakening but more rock like, just to recongize that he is Roy's echo fighter Corrin: Yep, that one from Ultimate was better Blyeth: CHANGE IT TO A SEMITONE
Corrin’s victory theme in this game is honestly his best trait. Beautiful and honestly brings me to tears. Feels like you won at a grievously high cost. Definitely Melee’s theme for Marth since it harkens back to a much simpler time and is just so much more satisfying. If not, then the Level Up theme from the original Fire Emblem or the level clear theme.
I always thought of Dr. Mario as the Mario of the old NES days, so giving him the slow variant of the Mario victory theme fits perfectly. It’s like he’s returning home from a long hard day, satisfied with all of his work.
I love the returns to Melee’s roots, since that had some of the best music in the series among other things. Dark Samus was PERFECT. I actually felt her presence. Mega Man was spot-on, and I still can’t believe they didn’t put the MM2 victory theme from the start. Ganondorf’s makes me want to play online with him. Lucas’s almost made me cry, since I’ve beaten Mother 3 lol. Sonic’s gave me flashbacks of all my E rankings as a teen. Good times. Also, way better than Sonic 2006 theme. Toon Link was INGENIUS and actually made me feel like I was playing Wind Waker.
@@CometMystic Anytime! Also, thank YOU. Luigi's theme sounded really legit btw. Gave me Google Halloween Black Cat vibes. Wario's was a callback to the Wario Land games we love, but kept just the right amount of crudeness of the modern Wario as to befit the original Wario we know and love. Richter's theme actually KEPT the Sonic CD (sorry, that's the first thing that comes to mind for me in terms of CD-quality soundtrack with 16-bit graphics, although I know it was PC-Engine)-sounding audio of Rondo of Blood, while also being more satisfying and fitting for a fighting game than the original Stage Clear theme for Rondo. Incineroar's gave me some mad late 90's/early 00's Wrestling nostalgia, and I'm indifferent about wrestling.
I'm going to assume you skipped Fire Emblem because you didn't know enough about it to confidently create fitting victory themes for them and not spite.
Oh gosh, thank you so, so much! Honestly, that was probably my lack of confidence talking, though I also do hate to take away the little Persona win screen easter eggs because of my problem with inconsistency, eheh...!
The idea of taking one main melody that's used for a character (i.e. Mario's Level Clear) and then remixing it to fit the character's personality/style is a pretty unique idea, since I've only seen people just give characters unique songs all together. I really dig how you handle some characters like Luigi having an unsure Luigi's Mansion sound to it or Mewtwo going full sci-fi horror, it's really cool! Though I'm not sure if I think that really works for some characters like Wolf, who I think would work better with a Dark Pit treatment. Not to say I dislike how you handle his theme, I actually quite like it and I can respect the decision and effort! Also major agreement to some of the Melee choices like Mario and Ice Climbers, I've always preferred the way they sound more.
Fine, I'll do Fire Emblem myself. Marth gets the Brawl version. Roy gets the original Melee version. He did make his debut in Melee, after all. Ike...I don't know, I'm imagining a barbarian-sounding kinda variation for some reason, with a choir "ohhhh"-ing to the main melody. Lucina would have a more solemn version, possibly played as a piano solo. Robin gets a variation with inspiration from the actual victory theme for the Awakening trio. Corrin gets one inspired by "Lost in Thoughts All Alone," the basis of their actual victory theme. Chrom...not sure why, but I'm imagining a reggae arrangement sort of like Awakening's Beach DLC theme or whatever. Byleth gets a variation based on their actual victory theme. Also, Min Min's is fine as is, Steve's is also good where it stands. Sephiroth's would be a darker variation of the traditional Final Fantasy fanfare (with the choir still singing his name at the end because why the heck not), and as for the Aegis Sisters (that's what I've been calling Pyra and Mythra), I'm thinking their actual win theme merged somehow with "You Will Know Our Names" from Xenoblade 1, Shulk's win theme. Kazuya gets a fanfare based on the ending theme from Tekken 1. Sora gets the victory theme he has. You're welcome.
It’s probably because it would be tedious, he doesn’t care abt it, or he doesn’t know enough about fire emblem to make themes for it. I’m betting the first 2
Or because a majority of the fanbase is annoyed with how many of them there are, and how they could be replaced with actual characters. Void Marth Ike Lucina and Chrom
I understand people are sick of Fire Emblem, but it feels unfair that you left them out. Nevertheless, this was really creative, special props for Ganondorf and Duck Hunt!
This video is so full of passion, creativity, and genuine research. Like, what the HECK; I loved every minute of it. In b4 you explode with subscribers.
Already told you in our messages, but I figured it was worth elaborating on here: I love these victory themes and it's amazing to see how well they fit in with the pre-existing ones. My top 5 are Piranha Plant, Mewtwo, Dark Samus, Zero Suit Samus, and Greninja! I wonder if it would be possible to employ these in a fangame?
Can't take you enough for helping me have fun with this project! Really interesting that you like the more atmospheric stuff I did, heehee! And, fun fact, veritably, fan game implementation is fairly easy! My personal build of Smash Bros. Crusade has a few of those in! ...Not because I think I did too good, just because some of the themes they have are not to my taste óuo
I'm particularly fond of Wario's theme, even though I also love the actual one used from Brawl through Ultimate a lot. While Stonecarving City is a really good track, it's just a level theme (so not even Wario's personal theme) and not a jingle. In that vein, it's pretty much the same situation as with Mega Man.
Thank you very much! I wanted to do a softer remix, but since the one in the game proper was a little harsh, I thought I'd try to follow suit; glad it payed off despite my reservations, eheh!!
You're really good at this whole music thing. The Ganondorf one was fuckin heavy I loved it. The Mii themes were really creative. Joker's was incredibly sweet. Daisy's was batshit and off the rails fun. Also mad respect for putting some Wario Land stuff in there, that's what my world needs
I think you're the first one to mention liking the Doc theme! I felt a little self conscious about how weird I made it, but now I feel justified, eheh!! Thank you so much!!
You must have skipped the beginning of the video! Which is totally understandable! I'll just give you a quick transcript from 0:24 to catch you up to speed nvn "#1. Characters that share a Series Icon... ...get the same melody for their theme."
Please..I'm begging you for this one and I'm on my knees. Make an extended version of Piranha plant victory theme. *I can vibe to this music non stop if I wanted to. PLEASE! PLEEEEEASE!*

this is so interesting and well made oh my god !!! i was really surprised by how few views it had when watching it for the third time, you deserve much more recognition!! and the presentation was so clean that i didn't even realize you left out all the fire emblem characters lmao (would still love to see your takes on them as well tho!)
3:42 Dr.Mario is my Favorite! This should be used for Super Smash Bros. Brawl:A New Chapter, which this victory theme can be used for Dr.Mario; Dr.Luigi; Nurse Peach and Dr.Giga Bowser! Doctor Bowser’s victory theme will be the unique victory theme @Udge did for him. Their logo will be a pill, but this was the BEST VICTORY THEME I HAVE EVER HEARD! You Rock! :) 👨⚕️ 💊 💉
If I did steve I would change it to Sweden If I did alex separate I’d go for a short version of pigstep She doesn’t have many promo art She is with Steve or it’s the nether update For zombie I’d go with cave noises and change the eating screen with a blank stand For enderman I’d change it to the arch-illager The reasons give spoilers to mc dungeons
These are great, man. Or woman... I always figured each character should have their very own individual tune, but I never considered radical variations on one theme. You nailed most of these! (my favorites by far are Daisy, Wario, Luigi, Jigglypuff, Mii Gunner, Rosalina & Duck Hunt)
Oh, thank you so much! Luigi is one of the ones I'm happiest with for sure! He exudes so much personality, so I feel like it's easy to be inspired by him and do something good!
Problem is, some of these go on a little too long, especially by Ultimate's standards. As for Mega Man, let's be honest; the title music for Mega Man 2 is more iconic than the level clear jingle.
Shulks theme comes from a song in the Xenoblade Chronicles OST called "you will know our names" which is known for playing when you fight a unique monster in the game. 7:16 also i need a full version of this ASAP not forcing you
9:45 Oh. My. God. It’s fucking perfect. Edit: nevermind, the Sans at the end of the video will now haunt my dreams. Plus, there was no Byleth. Points off for that. You said every Fighter in pass No. 1. This is still amazing, but why would you do this?
I know you liked the Joker jingle but I don't think it makes sense for me to also make a theme for a minor SMT boss just because they pop up in Persona 5, too...! But I'm glad you liked what you did, anyway!

This is really impressive. I really love Dark Samus's theme. I'd like to see more of these! EDIT: And just after I finished typing this I realized that you just uploaded a pt. 2 lol
My idea for Duck Hunt's theme was that the round clear starts as the 8 bit version and transitions to a remix finished off with the dog's laugh echoing
Oh yeah, if I had done like wholy unique melodies for each character, that's absolutely what I'd've done! But I think with Smash Bros. the whole is bigger than the sum of its parts, so making characters feel like representatives of their series by sharing victory themes feels more important to me, personally! And I'm really glad you enjoyed what I did; thank you so much!
Yah mother 2 and mother 3 are completely different games other than porky going though timelines so pollany is in a very small 30 second part of mother 3 going back on mother 2
Even though I don’t play either character, I’m so happy someone else feels the same about Yoshi and Dedede having their Melee themes suiting them way more! And all these new compositions are great! Also, while I personally disagree with leaving every single Fire Emblem theme out, ultimately it’s your video and creative choice so it’s not that big a deal 🤷♂️
I absolutely love this video. Awesome work! Although, I couldn't help but notice that you've excluded all of the Fire Emblem characters. Pretty humorous, not gonna lie. The funny thing is that I hadn't noticed until my fourth viewing.
These were pretty cool! I like the take on them, they were creative! I̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶m̶e̶n̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶s̶e̶c̶r̶e̶t̶ ̶8̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶r̶a̶c̶t̶e̶r̶s̶ ̶I̶ ̶u̶n̶l̶o̶c̶k̶e̶d̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶c̶o̶p̶y̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶s̶m̶a̶s̶h̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶i̶n̶c̶l̶u̶d̶e̶d̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ And if I had to give a bit of criticism (which is honestly just me being nitpicky), I feel like the final keyboard chord at the end of Lucas's victory theme was a bit too loud, and that it should've been a bit more of a background thing. Other than that, pretty cool!
Oh, that's a tough ask... This project took about a month, give or take? So if I jump in to another project that'll that about as much, I'd like a little more demand for it, which, considering this video has been sitting at
The same could be said about most characters here having their own spin-off games! That's why I specified using the same melody per series emblem at the beginning of the video! ouo
Marth gets the Brawl version. Roy gets the original Melee version. He did make his debut in Melee, after all. Olimar's smash victory theme sucks so hard it's a lil sad to see it unchanged (why more of that overused "first game title screen remix" when you could use the Ship Repaired or series-wide End of Day jingles). Otherwise, t's good
