@Antheia I really don't know. But the thing that keeps me going is, while we may not know the truth now we might know it in a few years. Given the society we live in, it is almost impossible for such celebrities to ever come out. But I hope that they find happiness with each other or with any special someone. Taehyung has been my bias for a very long time, at this point of time I just want him to be happy. There were hints of happier side of him that came out when he was with JK in the recent vlive. I also ship other ships like Yoonmin Namjin, and the legendary Jsprite but it's all for fun, like just once in a while, nothing seems serious. But when it comes to Taekook, they just seem so different and actually real. They are not just fanservice or fun like most other ships out there. We know all the members love each other (obviously duh), but during burn the stage when JK was sick ALL the members were there but BH purposly cut Tae out as if he wasn't. It is completely normal for "friends" to love and care so why was it only Tae that the editors cut? Then later Tae changed the choreo and showed JK ILY sign SECRETLY. No big deal, friends again love each other, but why did he try to do it secretly? And why do only Taekook have the IlY sign and not any other 2 member? I feel sorry for Antis they are missing out the most beautiful love story ❤️ But I will support all the members no matter who they end up with as long as they are happy (and Taekook are 😁 as long as the other is around).
That Burn the Stage weirdness is what made me a Taekook shipper. Because yes, they deliberately cut Tae out of the moment when JK was sick even though Tae was obviously super concerned of stage (kept looking over at JK and flashed the ILY sign at the end of Fire, changing the choreo, etc.) Tae had to wait in a hallway with no camera (and as soon as JK walked to the corridor, they cut the scene, trying to hide that Tae was there waiting for him.) That cutting is what convinced me that there was/is something there. Because, like you said, if they were just friends, why not treat Tae like all of JK’s other friends/hyungs?
