The guy in the end boarding is Cypher, on of the most mysterious characters in 40k. He's a Dark Angel, that's why Azrael did not flinch when Cypher spoke to him, he just considered him one of his marines.

The guy at the end was one of the dark angels. Part of their legion switched sides. It is imperial policy that if part of a legion turns traitor, they all will eventually, so the whole legion has to go. They are desperate to keep anyone from finding out some of them turned traitor.

Which is weird since so many chapters have turned traitor and basically almost all chapters are successors of the Ultramarines and they werent deemed traitor by association. I think it has to due with the Dark Angels pride that they were considered one of the best legions and it would hurt their ego if they ever had it found out. I mean even during the Heresy there were loyalist people in the traitor legions and triators in the loyalist ones. Just look at the White Scars where they also had a sizeable amount of the legion side with Horus and were dealt with by The Khan

For clarification there is a Theorie what says the Word Wolf does not exits im Tue Languange of Fenris but the true names of the troops have no translation in High Gothic so there comes the part with all the Wolf names

Rogal saying that Leman finding The Lion in the warp was 0,00% is accurate because at the time he was sleeping and hidden in a chamber deep in The Rock (Dark Angels space fortress castle) and not even the Dark Angels knew he was there. However he has returned to the setting and is the second loyalist primarch to return next to Guilliman Also he looks like Tywin Lannister. Guilliman was in a stasis field that wasnt affected by time so he looks the same as he did 10,000 years ago. The Lion however was not, so he has physically aged in the Imperiums longest "Cat Nap" (I play Dark Angels and just had to make that joke)

The mysterious hooded man is Cypher, the Fallen most wanted by the dark angels, but he always evades them or escapes shortly after being captured. Azrael is projecting everything he does into the mechanicus. Shapeshifter aliens are one of the many minor alien races that exist in the galaxy. The Custodes earn names for their achievements and since they live for millennia they can accumulate a huge list of names, it is believed that the first Captain General of the Custodies, Constantin Valdor had 10,000 names. Magnus continues to make the same mistakes he made in the Heresy without apparently learning anything along the way. Canonically the Emperor is kept alive with the sacrifice of thousands of psychics every day. Usually the weakest and most uncontrollable ones who would end up being victims of the demons in any case. Not that anyone has asked the Emperor his opinion on the matter.
