Handles on the stove are spinning badly.
How to lubricate the handle-taps on the gas stove.
The cooking surface which is built in four rings - the Pyramid (Piramida) PSE 641
If the faucet handles on the gas stove began to spin badly, they need to be lubricated.
Before starting to lubricate the knob taps on the gas stove, you must first disconnect the stove from the mains.
Then close the common gas supply valve to the stove.
Now you can proceed to the lubrication faucets.
Remove the grill from the stove and remove the burner.
I remove handles from gas faucets. I take out the sealing gum, designed to prevent debris from entering the plate through the slots under the handles.
I unscrew the bolts with which the front surface of the plate is bolted to the base. All bolts with washers I collect in a heap and put aside.
I rented the front surface of the plate. A seal was laid along its perimeter and it stuck to it. I pick it up with a knife and take it off.
And so, I got to the faucet handles, which I will grease.
I disassemble the faucet. First you need to remove the lock washer. Under it is the usual washer, which I also remove.
I remove the metal plate. Under it there is a bolt with which the piezoelectric switch is bolted to the tap body. The same bolt fastens the upper part of the tap with the lower part. I unscrew the bolt and remove the switch to the side.
I unscrew the second bolt and now it is possible to separate the upper part of the tap from the lower part.
There is a spring under the handle holder stem, which I lay aside with the top of the tap.
Under the top cover there is a conical plug, which is turned in the body of the crane with the help of a knob and regulates the gas supply to the burner through the holes drilled in it.
I will grease her. Pre-clean the cone from the old grease with a napkin. Old grease must be removed completely from the housing, as well as from all openings.
I turn to the cleaning of the old grease body of the handle of the faucet. Carefully remove all old grease from the inside of the valve body. It is necessary to clean it in such a way as not to scratch the inside of the case or the outside of the conical plug.
For lubrication is better to use graphite grease.
I take a graphite grease and gently lubricate her cone tube. I grease so that the grease does not clog the holes through which the gas enters the burner.
It is necessary to lubricate the cranes one by one. Do not immediately disassemble all the taps, and then lubricate them. In the future, during assembly, you can confuse and insert a tapered plug from one body to another. If this happens, the valve may start to let in gas, since the conical stoppers during manufacture are individually rubbed into its body, and will not work normally in the body of another crane.
Lubricated cone tube, now insert it into the body of the crane. I insert the slot located at the top of the tube in the direction of the gas supply tube to the burner.
I take the upper part of the faucet and put a cut on the rod under the handle, also in the direction of the gas supply tube to the burner. I insert a spring inside and set it on the body of the crane. The spring presses the tapered plug into the body of the crane.
Now I fasten the bolts that attach the top cover of the tap to the body. Under the second bolt, I substitute the piezo igniter and fasten it too.
Install the metal plate and install a simple washer on top of it.
I fix the already installed parts with a lock washer.
The first crane is ready.
Now, in the same sequence I disassemble, clean, lubricate and assemble a second faucet.
When all the taps were put in order, I clean the inside of the body of the plate from dirt and proceed to the assembly of the plate.
Install the upper case cover and fasten it with fixing bolts to the base.
I put in place the sealing gum to each faucet handle.
I place the handles of faucets in their places.
Install the burners with lids.
I put the lattice in place.
I open the common gas supply valve to the stove, turn on the stove in the outlet and check how it works.
Everything works great. Now the faucet handles are lubricated and spin freely.
