Get some light colored clothing to wear in the extreme heat and I might buy one. Wearing black in extreme heat doesn't help keep the body cool. I've never seen an Arab wearing black in their desert. Never seen a black Camel either.
@@MURPHYSDIESEL NM Desert, also live under an active military runway. M-S 8pm until 4am, Military all night long. I like it when the Stealth Bomber comes in for a landing. The belly of the plane has a neon spiraling circle, makes you dizzy just to look at it.
Thanks for the help guys. And hopefully nobody gives ya a hard time about the trailer falling off. 10/10 my fault. Long days be long day-ing. Hopefully we don’t have to call you again 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Nope that was a 1000% on you. The second you hoped out without checking to see it latched I saw it coming. That said it looked like you all were having a day and crap happens.
A right before you got stuck it got a little western on them bumps and your fifth wheel latched, you can see the handle is already in before you backed under. Just banged against the pin. You definitely have days like this that test everyone involved. Still better than sitting in an office! Be safe fellers!
Seeing that truck with the big shed on the trailer coming in hot sideways, rolling coal out of twin pipes was like taken straight out of a action movie 😅🤘
Glad to see the Devil Dog getting to work today ! From towing….lifting….grading and mechanic work you gentlemen get it done ! As always Murphy’s Diesel rocks !
I don't know how anybody that knows anything about anything would think that was your fault that lowboy fell off the back of that tractor. It was great for comic relief though. 🤣😅 As usual outstanding video!
Crane support truck and crane made it All the way to site with very little issue initially. Only got stuck because the PM kept complaining that they wanted the crane to go out and pull the low boi out despite being told it wasn’t gonna make it out the other entrance 🤷🏻♂️
@@JoeWoolley-rf5fq You get your ass out in 130 degree heat and be stuck for a day and see if you can think straight you dumb fvck. And you cant do a tug test in the sand , you may get stuck again.
To Wrecker Rick from a retired professional semi truck driver I have always respected wrecker truck drivers and what they do for a living! My hat is OFF to all Wrecker Truck Operators and what they have to put up with in order to recover wrecked vehicles of All Sizes!
Good to See you Folk’s all the Way from the East Coast, South Central Pennsylvania. You all are Living the Good Life, I’ll catch you on the next one, Keep it Safe Out There Sir
The gangs all there! Love FREE BIRD, it's amazing what he can do!! Those big rigs were dead in the sand & FREEBIRD just pulls them right out! Good recovery MURPHY'S DIESEL CREW! Enjoyed the video. BE SAFE
Always great too see what you are up to big daddy ! Nice Stacks on the Ranch Truck . Amazing knowing weight pull ability having a plan and hooking up to the right thing !
Very smooth recovery, Rick. Everyone did his job, and your crew left no traces that anything happened. And the important thing was nobody was injured and no equipment damaged.
Those Cozad units are built like tanks. I had a Rogers 60 ton ground bearing low bed and they just hardly don’t build them like that anymore. Nice seeing Freebird and the 7 ton back out in the wild. Great job taking care of business. Thanks for sharing!
Nicely done as usual Wrecker Rick, gotta give to the lowboy driver for getting western down that new road, i thought he was in the world rally for a minute, yeah that driver should of checked his fifth wheel connection a little better, that isn't your job, and i hope your Kubota gets a little love for a new set of tracks, awesome time as always 😎
Thanks Wrecker Rick, this has to be one of your all time best videos!!! From the look on your face it looked like you were enjoying "off roading" the 7 ton...the trailer falling off the turntable was an absolute classic...👏👏
Hey! Number one job of that flatbed puller is making sure the freaking things latched on! ( Can you say Tug Test?! ) Jeeeze! Yeah, not your responsibility Rick. Todd the retired trucker.
I’m always fascinated by the recovering shit buried in sand with a vehicle on… sand. Lol. I live in Florida and obviously we have sand, but not the powdery sand you all have to work in over there. More people get stuck in the swamps than on the beaches here. I grew up in WV and thick rich dirt that turns into thick rich mud when wet is our version of your sand. It’ll swallow a vehicle whole at the first hint of wheel spin. It’s miserable to walk and try to work in and makes everything 10X heavier just to add insult to injury. Lol. Another awesome video, Rick. I look forward to them every week.
Been driving for almost 30 years and now retired. Also done heavy haul. Awesome recovery. I hate haters. I have dropped a few trailers because of a faulty fifth wheel. A driver is responsible for his equipment but it could be a number of things. Angle to fifth wheel to tractor.. height of fifth wheel.. I've done many tug tests and it still released.. I agree with you its not your responsibility for someone else's equipment. Great job 👍
Great job! We learned the hard way on our M543A2 to put a big shackle in the pintle hook when using ropes (although not that large) because the fibers can wedge into the gap between the top and bottom jaw putting too much pressure on the latch and breaking it or stripping the rope thru it.
Had my trucker towed from National Forest was an expensive tow but truck is now fixed and off to the next adventure. $600 tow Plus cost of rental car to get back to home and back to pick up trucks and repairs. Oher 2 stacks all said andd down plus Time holla, Much respect to recovery drivers
Good morning Wecker Rick, I really appreciate you making this Video for me, I drank a lot of water for you to show my appreciation. It looks real HOT and DRY, I hope that helps? 🧐🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looks like freebird could use some new tracks. I love watching you guys help people and I love helping people too. Like you said about free bird I say about my power wagon. If one part of line won’t do it double it or triple it till it comes out. Great job crew!
Always take twice the snacks you think you will need and three times the cold water! Shenanigans require people-fuel and people-lubricants ... which sometimes means beer and such like but only after the shenanigans are done and relaxing around telling lies about the day is the final order of business.
I saw the back up but I never saw the "try to pull forward check". Then the driver hopped out to hook up the air lines and electrical. Was a comical event. Rick is good at making his videos entertaining. The Editor has the painstaking job of bleeping or cutting out the expletive languages. Big rigs, big boys, big words. Thanks, Mr. Editor for all that you do.
Purina was the last place I worked at before I left Arizona I am guessing I lived within three miles of where your yard is at You and Missus Wrecker Rick are probably two of the few decent people down there Thank you
You ain't got to lie to kick it. You're not out there busting your ass for us. You're out there busting your ass for that paycheck! I ain't mad at you! LMBO 😆😂🤣😭🇺🇸🇺🇲
That’s the most western I’ve seen yet! And it wasn’t even youall! That lowbed driver, damn good cowboy hammer down driving! Company driver all the way😳😂🤣
Love watching any of your videos and you're having too much fun with the seven-ton in that Arizona sand… Didnt show how they did the delivery of that cellphone tower, but that's one where they might have made the road, and pulled the truck and trailer with the tower with a D10 Dozer, and decided then that your services were going to be necessary to finish with the electronics shed and the crane to set up the tower and get everything working… Heck of a good video Rick…
Rick still waiting on your decision weather or not your choping the beard. love your content alway looking forward to a notification from the Murphy deisel towing. keep on truckin
Congratulations, very good job and clever planning. Rick, it's like that, some people don't think far enough ahead, but it's like that everywhere, not just in the USA. Greetings from Frankfurt, very nice video. Gerold
I was under the understanding that Deniro got fired for putting Wrecker Ricks family in extreme danger while Wrecker Rick was trying to take a vacation. I guess not. Deniro just needs to go work at the mall. Awesome recovery Wrecker Rick!
Great video. I think it would be cool if you built a “Wrecker Rick Style” small rotator bed on tropical thunder. That would be awesome . Pull the mirrors off one of the wrecks and put on it before you break your neck looking backwards all the time😂
I believe your out there busting your ass for money! But appreciate your thoughts. It's awesome to watch how cool and collected you are even in the hardest situations.
Desert rescues are the best; sand and volcano dust catches loads of people out! A 5 second tug in the 5th wheel can save hours of annoyance later, needs to be second-nature to a driver really.
Fine job guy's, hey Rick if it ever got to a point that you couldn't do recoveries you'd be a great comedian lmao. Every job we see you on it really looks like it's more fun then work for you. Thanks for having fun and letting us watch. Stay Western My Friend.
I was thinking I’d try my hand at psychology, always wanted to be a shrink! Some of them aren’t that fun, I usually don’t film those ones… as long as you got good folks around it makes it easy to have fun! Yes sir you know I will! Thanks for watching!
That’s general crane hire mate. Most construction sites, mine sites etc where cranes work are off road. You do everything and you never know till you get there what you are up against. Where we are, there is white beach sand everywhere. We have developed a few ways to deal with it, but getting bogged is just part of the game. Often we will have dozers tow us into a site or up a mountain to get us there and that’s the difference between good operators and steering wheel attendants. The good operators can figure out how to get the job done for the customer safely and within a reasonable budget.
