I totally agree. This is also my kind of book. All the Shakespeare parts are like garnishing to the plate for me. Great review. Glad to find your channel.
The favorite thing about Tartt’s The Secret History was the beautiful writing and the immersive prose. If you say If We were Villains doesn’t have that… do you think I will like it?
@@155books I read it about 3 months ago and I actually really enjoyed it. Was it the best/of most literary value book I've ever read? No. Was it also a ton of fun? Hell yeah. I liked the pacing of it all, too.
so i read this book, and i'm pretty new to the mystery/thriller genre but i really really enjoyed this book......(SPOILER ALERT!) but i still don't get the end, specifically the last line......is james alive? or was this a cry of help that never got to oliver in time? can someone pls help me out here? cause i might now be able to sleep without answers..
I took it as he was still alive and threw the book at a wall because I needed to see that reunion haha. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my review
a beautiful chaos of books it’s obvious where the storyline is going (I thought) but the way it is written makes it SO GOOD! Hope you enjoy it when you do get round to it! 😁💕
