Thank you for your wonderful and informative content. The only crime I'm concerned about is the crime the government is committing of not doing more for people of Ghana.

The only reason why we don’t have these in America is because the Home Owners Association would have a fit 😂. I’d much rather have fences than guns.

Yes bro if they found you had a electric fence they’d loose it 😂 I do enjoy the privacy of my wall, however there are many people that have metal bars fixed in the wall so you can still see the house.

Sometimes people break into other people’s home in West Africa and steal your valuables that is the reason for the electric fences.
@sarafinalove5330
@sarafinalove5330 5 месяцев назад
Why electrical fences. I am getting the impression that Ghana is not safe. Personally, moving to Africa, I wouldn't want any high walls or electrical fences around. I don't want that feeling of living in prison. I can understand having some kind of security at my house such as an alarm but those high walls it's a no for me. I need to have freedom to live. Hell in such case I stay in the U.S. but that's just me.
@webelonginafrica44
@webelonginafrica44 5 месяцев назад
Thanks but there are millions of people here with no fences nor walls. They are not mandatory and a person don’t need them. I see all the people that have a little money with them so I want them. I love the high walls because me and my girlfriend walk around outside half naked a lot. I love Africa ❤️

Trust me you don’t necessarily need it. However when I lived In Detroit even with a fence they still broke I’m my house 2 times in one year. They would not let me put up electrical fencing. I did install cameras and the thieves didn’t care at all. People like myself are trying to mimic the rich Africans with big gates, electric fences and cameras. I’ve had this house since 2017 and not one break in.

Is crime that bad in Ghana that we have to live in a home surrounded by electricity. I keep seeing homes with barbwire on the walls. You should do an episode and explain to us why we need to do this. This will help us better understand what we may be walking into and why you purchase a home there. 6:50 lol you knew we would ask. But why you need security?
@webelonginafrica44
@webelonginafrica44 5 месяцев назад
Thanks for watching ok I’ll do a video on that. No crime is not that bad. It’s not like there are break ins but this is Africa where people make 40 dollars a month and some don’t even make that. I’ll do a video on that though.

Ghana is a very safe place to be, even more safer than the United States; we just don't want to give petty thieves the opportunity to exploit.
@derekg3230

It's hilarious when folks in the US ask this question. You fucking own guns! Which country appears to be safer?
@LatoreLyfe
@LatoreLyfe 5 месяцев назад
@derekg3230 I don't own any guns. I know my neighbors don't. Many Americans do not. I was asking the question due to the fact I see many homes in the cities of America with the same setup. I see it in Italy, Spain, and Germany. My impression of Ghana is that it's safe and chill.
@cassielogan1027
@cassielogan1027 5 месяцев назад
Ghana is safe but visitors need to remember police are not simply a 911 call away. Neither are ambulances. Where people choose, these are the precautions they take. We personally don't have electric wiring but that might change in future. A robbery can drastically change a theif's life for good in one moment. That's the reality of poverty.
@webelonginafrica44
@webelonginafrica44 5 месяцев назад
Exactly you know I wanted to do a video about just that. 911 is not a phone call away. There is a police station right at the end of my road at the junction.

I need to.move in a gated community then...Ghana cant be that secure if you have to have bars on every window and a electric fence then something is terribly wrong!!! I live in NYC and we dont have bars and electric fences on are houses and we dont have break in... like that...I still love Africa though

Hello, I need a sponsor for my trip to Ghana on 2025. My plan is to stay for a month. I’m in the process of obtaining my travel visa and some of the requirements are that I have a residency and a travel date. Can you help a sister out? Do you know of this process and how did you handle it when you were traveling to and from the states 🎉

Great content. We do have electricity walls to prevent thief or prevent being a target. Just like any other country, there is a security system like here in USA. Most people have ring cameras/cctv. Ghana is a safe place. 2) for the English 😂😂. U need to learn Ghana terminology ( ex Charlie, bossu, estimate,etc) plus you need to speak slowly. 😂😂😂😂😂
