@@demetriusbartholomew what? How have I not been thru tougher experiences than a child? Chances are I’ve starved more, I’ve had less money, I’ve lived on the side of more streets, I’ve gone more nights with no food, I’ve gone more days and years with no support. I know struggle. Children don’t really. There are exceptions like me where your upbringing is terrible and your home life is miserable and everyone that’s involved in your life is beyond gone in their brain but that’s the EXCEPTION not the majority. The majority of children don’t know depression, the majority of children don’t know how tough life can actually be. The majority is actually so large compared too the minority in this sense that’s it’s almost incomparable. 99% of kids in the western world grow up privileged as fuck and they think they have depression because they have no goals and no idea what too do with themselves. Children also love to generalize, they clump everything that makes them feel similarly into groups of things, if a kid feels the same way about not getting too use his iPad as he does about his pet dying then that says enough. Young adults are a different story, I would say people from the ages of maybe 13-16 is when you start too get somewhat of an understanding of what it can actually mean too be depressed and miserable. Kids are sad about being dumped and then they’re “depressed” the word ain’t meant too be used so loosely. I 100% agree that there is a very small portion of children and a larger but still small amount of young people who have too struggle because I was one of them lmfao but that doesn’t mean that the majority went through what I went through or anything close too it, life is tough but the strong prevail.
