what are my warehousing options as a start-up? most 3PL don't work with start-up as the activity on our account would generate would be considerably less than what they charge?

It depends on how much quantity you move per week, month etc. You could plan to rent a small place and do it yourself or pay weekly rent for warehouse spaces who would pick and pack for you and use a transport company to.deliver

Hi Binu You will have to decide on which country you want to export to and then see the demand in that market. Generally handmade products, handicrafts, ecofriendly products, clothing, Indian spices/grocery etc from India are on demand. Hi Mayal Anything imported into the country has to go through the UK systems and procedures. Even if you are importing small quantities via air freight, you will still have to go through the Customs at airport.

@mayalgaming4207 Hi Mayal, Would you know what the payment terms were when they delivered last time? If it was DDP, then it means supplier has covered all the VAT etc. There is no customs duty below £135 but there could be Import VAT. You do not need an EORI number if you’re moving goods that are for personal use only’ The courier just needs to declare your name and address instead of the EORI . You only need an EORI if you are a business ( including sole traders) But always best to speak with the courier and double check. Wish you all the very best

Hi Sachin, Rex number is the registration number for the exporter regardless of the products. You will need certificate of origin too for all products

Hello 1st you will have to decide on what business you wish to do incl what products etc. And then find out through research if there is a market for those products in Saudi. Then find out all the costs incl Importing, shipping, duty rates etc to see if its viable. Wishing you all the very best!

Hi Reshma There are several steps involved and questions to be answered before starting your business:- 1) Have you decided the product? 2) have you identified your market and customers? Is there a demand? 3) What are the costs involved? Are the costings manageable? Hi Arun It's hard to give an estimate. It depends on various factors incl value of the goods, quantity you import, shipping cost, duty rates/Vat, margins for distribution etc

Hi You will have all the usual paperwork plus any extra depending on the material of leggings. Eg:- If made of wool, you might need special certificates. Best to speak with a freight forwarding agent and confirm
