The fan culture and the league's structure is what makes Euroleague so special. The NBA is for sure the greatest league in the world, this can't change, but the way u.s. fans behave and the crazy amount of games make it look unimportant to us. Imagine a team losing 3 in a row in the NBA RS. No one cares, right? Well, coaches have lost their job over here for three consecutive Ls. From October to May every week you play for your life, and the arenas look like the medieval era 😂, there is no such things as bandwagons and transferring supporters over here.
Don’t know much about euro ball but I think one reason is because the amount of games played the nba season is 82 so you have time to make up that difference the euro only has like 35-40 games so that isn’t even half
Those injuries really zapped his athleticism he could have been real nice. I think he averaged 20 early in his career when he was playing with giannis back in the day
This is great video, but there were some mistakes: firstly, Kyle Guy was released mid season by PAO and when he was playing for PAO he was bad. Secondly, Maccabi didn't play for almost the whole season in Tel Aviv, they played in Belgrade with limited fans allowed to enter the arena. Thirdly, In game 1 of PAO-Maccabi Wade Baldwin got injured and didn't play for the rest of series (he played in game 4 for a few minutes but couldn't continued due to injury) and Baldwin was The best player in Euroleague in the second half also before playoffs a lot of people Baldwin was the second best player in Euroleague only behind Mike James. Sorry for a long comment just wanted to add a bit of context for people who didn't watch Euroleague.
I can't lie this shit is 🔥 I need to watch this type of basketball and your play by play + accent had me hooked ( pause 😮) but I'm subscribing keep doing shit like this!!!
I'm definitely subscribing to Euroleague next season. It'd be cool if Ben Simmons made the jump to Euroleague. He's perfect for the Euroleague & I can definitely see him playing for Fenerbache or AS Monaco next season. Would love to see him paired up with Nigel Hayes Davis or Mike James next season.
Euro league looks like the Champions league in soccer most nights. seems like it be a very memorable night compared to the countless NBa games I’ve been to and couldn’t have cared less. Tho my local team is the hornets…. So enough said there.
I watched many games of EuroLeague playoffs and enjoy it pretty much, basketball here in Europe is way more tactical but I also watched a lot nba playoffs games and the talent level is just not comparable. EuroLeague is good but nba stars are out of this world talent wise
Everybody talks about Euro league being “pure” basketball with lots of ball movement. But that Monaco fenerbache series every single highlight was a iso step back 3 🤣
I’m not going to lie this looks like actual basketball idk wtf the nba has become but I miss this type of ball idk where to catch the games but ima be here for more recaps for sure

Kostas Sloukas didn't betray Olympiacos. The owners of Olympiacos had agreed with him contract - wise. The coach of Olympiacos didn't want him. So they decided to dump him.

Maccabi went to playoff with only one true home game first fixture on October 5th against Belgrade.. Amazing team.. second year in a row lose in game 5..
I didnt even watch the video yet so maybe the thumbnail is a clickbait but no. Euroleague is great , very competitive and I love it but NBA playoffs are on another level
how is the thumbnail a clickbait? Kemba is literally a bench warmer averaging 3 points and a single assist for a team that didn't even make the final 4, despite the home court advantage. Rubio is a star, but his team didn't make the final 4 either, despite the home court advantage. Kendrick Nunn is a star and the leading scorer of Pana, the 2nd place finisher of the regular season and the eventual champion.
NBA playoffs are another level of boredom. Blowouts almost every game, home court doesn’t matter cause the crowd are a bunch of random nerds, almost no tactics because the talent is so much that iso just works every time, defense is laughable most of the time, bo7 means almost every time the favorite wins and upsets rarely happen. This year the playoffs are a snooze fest.
@@tifolol6687 Sorry man number of ppl watching tells a different story and saying that tactics dont matter and there is no defense played in the playoffs you probably never watched NBA playoffs
@@valor144 the only story that is told by the viewership numbers is that the NBA has superior talent and has acquired such talent by throwing money at them.
I don't want to be a hater but for me personally there is only so much time I can commit to watching basketball. No matter how intense it is I am not going to spend my time watching a playoffs where Campazzo, and Kendrick Nunn are the top players
the euroleague is a completely different playstyle from the nba with different rules no 3 sec and smaller court nd only 40 minutes in a game so players like nun nd campazzo game fits the euroleague more then the nba u seen it in the world cup when Dennis Schröder became a superstar in the world cup for Germany
@@Bastfps a couple things. Although far from a superstar in the NBA Schroder has been able to play in the NBA as a solid starter/role player for 10 years, unlike Nunn and Campazzo. As for the World Cup that is a real small sample size. It is only an 8 game tournament, with only really 6 of those games against real (competitive) teams. In the NBA Playoffs where it is 16-28 games to win against top competition who can make adjustments, I don't think Schroder would be a super star.
Go watch Celtics - Pacers ,at least you will laugh...mate,i'm speaking facts,we watched last night at a friends house just 10-15 minutes of this so called ECF (these are your 2 best teams at the East? ha!) and we laughed our hearts out with the ''quality'' of basketball.Seemed like it was a preparatory match in Europe between bad teams...
Americans can't experience the Euroleague the same way we do. For them teams are a product, for us is worship. You will not see any European fan dancing and smiling when their team is down. The coaching is miles ahead. I don't think there is any coach in the NBA better than Obradovic. The only thing they are superior is athleticism and endurance which is why their brand of basketball is different. In USA they have mega superstars in Europe we have teams that are greater than the sum of their parts
@@lance8163where did he say that the euroleague has better talent? He just said we have better fans better coaches and put teams above individual players which are all true
@@lance8163 Τhe NBA (and America in general) has WAY way more actual basketball fans than Europe. And that's why NBA has more money, and therefore signs the best players in the world. There is no question about that. The fans in Europe are not exactly basketball fans, most of them are really soccer fans, it's only because the basketball squad usually belongs to the same club and shares the same name with the soccer squad, they follow them too. But if you ever ask them to pay NBA type prices for basketball tickets they would all bolt LOL So euro hoop teams have to make do with a much smaller budget than NBA, and they focus more on coaching and team discipline. Much like NCAA but with grown up players. It's pretty cool actually, it's a good watch.
@@SP-nx8qx I enjoy basketball and I will say the fan atmosphere in the Euroleague looks more appealing than the NBA. In my opinion, the NCAA and Euroleague both have the NBA beat when it comes to fan experience at Arenas. I'm not hating on the Euroleague or trying to diminish their talent but the original comment tried to argue that the NBA lacked talent.
@@giorgosdoudounis9206 "The only thing they are superior is athleticism and endurance which is why their brand of basketball is different." NBA players have more than just athleticism and endurance over the Euroleague...
This is great, I have a question? How and Where can one get access to this type of content, to make game analysis or highlights videos for his YT channel. Also any concerns to copyrights or other things. Would like to create a channel covering basketball games around popular and less popular leagues or teams etc
Ive never gotten into euro basketball but as an Australian. Id like to tho, i just cant understand how euroleague works cause there are like dozens of leagues so idk what to follow
if you're familiarwith the uefa champions league in soccer, it's kind of similar. Europe is made up of multiple countries, and each country has its own domestic league, the EuroLeagues best teams from these countries, france, spain, germany, greece, serbia, turkey, all play in EuroLeague
Maccabi had a great team this year. Arguably the best outside the Final 4. Someone could say they were better than Fener and Olympiacos who made the Final 4. It's a shame they were the 7th seed and had to face Panathinaikos in the playofffs.
This man is the biggest clout-chaser on RU-vid. Hitched his wagon to the Ball Bro hype, that tanked. Tried to latch on to the Caitlin Clark train, that didn’t help him. Now he’s trying to make people care about Euroleague. Bro, go get a 9-5.
ima give the euroleague a try in October but no way in hell you can't say this is the best league when yall don't even play that many games from Oct to April.
I thought yall said euro players better then usa playere how come so much usa players go and dominate but not much euro players dominate the NBA unless the nba help
This guy is basically my everyday euroleague update but the way he tries to clown on the NBA and make it seem like euroleague teams would actually stand a chance against the best teams when both are all in, mesmerizes me. But hey, he does start a lot of controversy and gets clicks so he's a smart one for sure. I do think euroleague can beat NBA teams tho, not just in real "everyone wants to win" scenarios
@@DKM_SportsI would agree but then that leads to question why can’t they do it in the NBA. If it’s harder to score in euro league then NBA how come those guys don’t do it there just a honest question
