Could you ever have imagined what becoming an influencer would lead too. I LOVED this vlog. Hordur is fantastic. Keep your vlogs coming. Anything. I've watched it twice already.
What a great vlog - and kudos to Pete's cinematography! For the next installment of the series, can Mr. Iceland come visit you in England for training and jumping? That would be EPIC.
Thoroughly enjoyed your ride with the wild horses. Were I 50 years younger Meg, I would jump at the opportunity to do the same. Sadly a bit too old now! I live vicariously through the younger generstion!
No more being scared out xc megan ! You survived the most terrifing horseback experience out there , in the pouring rain ! A little BE100 is nothing anymore ❤
Loved the vlog, Pete is doing amazing filming. He captured the majestic wildness of the landscape and the horses ❤ Great vibes between you and Mistericeland! 😂
How much fun was that! I loved how the horse's shoes gleamed as they galloped along that black volcanic dirt. You and Hodur are hilarious together. And of course, the amazing cinematography by Pete! It could not get any better! Thank you for brining this to us Princess Meg.
It looks better than a roller coaster at a fun fare - which lots of people think is scary. Real life vs pretend real life!! Well done Meg and thanks to the Mr Iceland and team (and Peter, of course) for helping us understand the joy of free range horses (and riding)!!
I enjoyed every second of this video, but how glad I was to be in a nice warm dry house and not in an icelandic rainstorm! The landscapes and the horses are gorgeous, it must've been amazing to disconnect like that for a while and be so in touch with nature and the animals and the earth.. The dream. Well done Meg :)
That was amazing Meg what an experience and Pete did great filming it all. Those ponies are strong and seem to have lovely natures. This was a fab vlog tfs😎🏇😎
THANKS SO MUCH MEGGIE!!❤❤ I lived watching you ride and also get soaked with rain and get mud in your face and everything the spicy apple juice seemed interesting! ❤❤❤❤ hope you had a great time! I sure did watching
@@elphick.event.ponies ofc! I have been struggling with my jumping lately and was wondering if you have an tips? I’m an eventer to and I think you rly are the best one ever and my idol 🫶🏻🫶🏻
@elphick.event.ponies Yes he is and I love how you both tease each other. Your channel is awesome! Love keeping up with your ups and downs.. thanks for sharing your life with us! Also, I'm waiting patiently (read impatiently) for Pete to pop the question 😉 can't wait for that video update! 😀
That is absolutely incredible! I love the chaotic energy of your tour guides throughout this entire video! Such a wonderfeel feeling to run with the herd...😍🥰 Pete's phootage is incredible, his talent has really excelled! Loved this video xx
Now, thanks to you, Meg, if we sign up for that, we know what we are getting into. And I totally want to sign up! Looks insane, but so worth it. Glad that the comedy duo of Hadur and Meg was reunited. Your material is great! And Pete, who I think has a natural gift for cinematography, is killing it with his gorgeous footage, here and everywhere!
I was taught to ride during a time in South Africa when we would often find ourselves several hours away from home, galloping and swimming our horses and climbing slime dumps etc.. (and no cell phones) you learn very early on to never let go of your reins when you fall off. If you did let go, it was going to be a long walk home not to mention the danger to your horse going all the way home by itself, through barb wire fencing and crossing busy roads etc....To this day, it does not matter how or why I fall off, I never let go of my reins!
I can say that I am 5mins in, havent seen any horses yet and I LOVE IT! Has honestly made me laugh so hard with the car journey. Thank you for this already amazing video. And the experience you have had seems amazing
Crazy. Amazing. Scary. LOL funny. Just beautiful horses!!! I am see an awful lot of shoes? Is this a mixed herd? Ridables and wild? Really cool adventure Meg!!! 🐎🤪😁❤️
Loved this video! You do make me giggle… It’s just like endurance riding in Cornwall (minus the black sand of course) we even share the liquid sunshine 😂 You should try endurance next!! 🐎💪🏻
WOW, that looked amazing. What a great way to get them all exercised at once, do you think it could work with ours? Really beautiful horses, I can't wait to go & visit x
Fantastic as always!!! ❤❤ Riding with the herd has been my dream for years!!! But I really feel like Pete is missing out on the riding..... Next time maybe??
It looks amazing!! I definitely would to the beach ride, not up to madness riding with the herd!! (currently gathering my friends instagrams as I type this lol)
Absolutely brilliant vlog again Meg, I love love love yr vlogs, always so funny and educational too!! What I was wondering was though, if they are wild horses, how come they all have shoes on?? Xxx
This one was amazing Meg! Do you have any tips on confidence while jumping? My pony hasn’t Done much jumping and I want to start but I’m quite nervous , anything would be helpful x
They mean wild as in loose horses. If I'm remembering correctly there are very few "wild" horses in Iceland, but that doesn't mean that they're all handled/trained. But I think these are used for tours.
