Dude that guessed 499 for the playstation deserved to win, Dawson didn't tell him it includes taxes and I think most of us would think it's the price of the product, the the price plus taxes. He actually got the price right, felt bad for him.
He didnt got it right, "If you can tell me how much this cost", you literally cant buy it for 499. If you've been to the States you will know. Price on display on ALL ITEMS are pre taxes. Price for the ps5 is listed as 499 but at the cashier you pay 499+taxes. Imo its a really retarded system, tourists (like me) who mainly use cash end up with way too many pennies and nickels. he knew he forgot about the taxes and fucked up, hence the come on government.
My son is in college and I know from what he tells me that some kids have more than others so to see the kid guess the price of the PS5 really made me happy and somewhat emotional because you can tell he genuinely appreciated that. Thanks for being one of the few RU-vidrs out there that are actually making people happy! Great job!
Amazing video Daws, coming up with some creative ways to give gifts to people. That last guy was genuinely happy to meet u, and him winning the watch just added more joy and excitement.
Anyone guessing under 500 minimum is straight es tupen. Have they ever bought/seen some gold earrings? The coin is bigger so just based on weight it has to be more than a rack.
Love the last man who won the Apple watch! He’s so happy to see bigdaws and so grateful I would be so happy too! I keep on dreaming and imagining what if big daws and his team comes here in Australia 🇦🇺 That would be so awesome!
❤Wow. You made me cry, Mister. This was the best part of the holiday, watching your vid, and seeing the guy win the watch, laughing at your audience, how young and innocent they all seemed, and none who could give you the price of gold, even to win it. If they all weren't so darling, it would be horribly upsetting! I subscribed becuz you all made me smile, and cry, and you rescued our catastrophe of a day, and it ended with lots of laughs and a great discussion about sales tactics, and affiliate marketing, and the algorithm of RU-vid. Who knew? I have been challenged to put together one video and post it, and I had no niche until now. Me having a RU-vid channel? What will they do next? Well, Mister D, I want to do 'feel good' vids, too. Thanks for the inspo. You are a dear, Mister D. Be blessed. --Sarge
I guessed 2,000$ . I would have been close but not within 100$ . The only reason I know somewhat about this is because my friend trades gold and silver.
When the first guy gets it right, Dawson should have hyped him up and then said- "Congratulations, you just won this free Air Up water bottle who also happens to be the sponsor of this video!"😂
@@morgoth9526 Why would a person who doesn't dabble in the gold market keep track of that? Do you also know the price of Silver, Iron, Steel, Aluminium, iron, tin , copper and other metals? Diamond? Sapphire? Emeralds? If not, that's sad... Tho I agree, I actually thought everybody had a good estimate on what gold is worth. Some of them guessed under $1-100....
To be fair, pure gold is outside of the budget for most people, much less college students. Most college students will be lucky to have a few hundred bucks in their banks accounts, which they have to spend on their school and living expenses. So, closely tracking the spot price of gold would largely be a waste of time for them.
ON GOD AND EVERYTHING I LOVE 2200 WAS THE FIRST THING THAT CAME TO MIND , UNREAL , 2200 IS ROUGHLY THE AMOUNT PER OUNCE WHERE I LIVE AND IM ACTUALLY AMAZING BIG DAWS THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEOS CANT HELP BUT TO LAUGH AND SMILE WHILE WATCHING ! ! !
Hallo Big Daws....its really nice watching all ur video.... Iam Hendri from Indonesia..very very far from ur country... You are a great man...I really hope , I can meet u ....
Hello....Big Daws....how can I reach ur telegram...I search on my telegram but can't find that... Really thanks for answering my content...always become my inspiration... God bless u Big Daws
I look at the price of gold multiple times a day, because I do all my shopping with gram gold bars. Even when I only need to spend a couple dollars, I pay with a gram of gold. Gold is king. If you ain’t using it in 2024 you are a fool.
Almost like there's no interest in things that holds actual value. 🤔 So happy I boarded the precious metal train instead of the crypto wreck. Even if the price would go south i could make some nice jewelry from my stash. 😆
@@pallemaniac Unfortunately, I think a lot of these people who don't know what gold costs, will know in the near future when you'll have to rush to immediately spend every penny of your pay before it devalues more by the minute.
About that gold coin, I averaged out the answers of everyone except 100k bcz it was way too much :DD, and it was 2500, pretty close, I watched one experiment that proved that collectively people can guess numbers very well if you average out their answers, so I guess it works, and no, I'm not a nerd for checking this.. or maybe I am :dd
@@goldhawk420 Yeah but you will hear something about gold, also if you are absolutely not interested in that stuff. So this people with their ~20 years do believe, that gold in that size - bigger than 2 rings - costs 6 bucks? So jewelry must be a total scam to them 😂 Common sense must be something for the generations before them 😬
@NemesisLex Definitely a different generation who doesn't know about precious metals, you could've told that whole campus, and they all probably wouldn't know the price of an oz,this younger generation has a short attention span so they get bored and move onto something else, but I'm in my late 30yrs and I've owned and sold many Oz's of gold.I'm set for life, but I'm just worried for this next generation cause life gets harder, and they need to put themselves in a position to succeed going forward whatever their path is.
@@goldhawk420 yeah but hear me out … there is a difference between not knowing these EXACT prices and think that huge coin of gold is 6 bucks 😂 common … sense …
