Hi everyone, "Aura" here. Wow, I actually didn't think my game would actually get shown. From what I could tell when I was dueling, my opponent made the Red Eyes Flare XYZ because they believed they could burn me for 500 damage each time they attacked. But since Right Hand Shark was used to make Crooked Cook, it doesn't activate an effect to become battle immune, so I never took the damage. The moment Zeus showed up, I literally said "PLEASE tell me you're going to try the effect!" I was legitimately crying with laughter when they did. He surrendered SO FAST after that! EDIT: By the end, they only had 12 cards left in the deck, while I still had 34. So it would've been difficult for my opponent to try winning via deck-out. But since this was in Duelist Cup, I cannot check their deck list to see if they had any possible "outs" left. EDIT #2: I see many people saying "Scareclaw Kashtira would've gotten rid of Crooked Cook." Believe it or not people, Crooked Cook will NOT have been stopped in this duel even if Scareclaw Kashtira uses it's effect. It won't matter if it's paired with Fenrir's attempted banishment effect or any of the other Kashtira monsters. Crooked Cook will STILL remain immune to battle destruction and will STILL remain unaffected by card effects. Master Duel will show the effect of Scareclaw Kashtira triggering, but it will NOT affect Crooked Cook at all. Please feel free to test this yourself with a friend so you can see it work as I've described!
@@staroyouno Fortunately for me though in this duel, Crooked Cook would be safe from a Raigeki since the protection isn't limited to just monster effects. Where as Chaos Angel only gets protection to monster effects and battle. But yeah, either monster still has multiple weaknesses for balance thankfully.
@@Celestial_Wing Simple. He used Zeus effect which sends every card on the field except itself to the graveyard. Crooked Cook wasn't affected by card effects, so he stayed on the field. So in the end, my opponent realized he screwed up by removing the rest of his cards.
@@GurenPlasma modders when they vs kashtira end their connection to win but konami found their modded tools instant banned after getting reported by so many players
@@HyperWhale286 My opponent (the Kash player) had 12 cards left in deck. I still had 34. So it would've been close due to Kash effects, but not guaranteed.
I've seen people do this before 😂😂 They think it doesn't effect their monsters, always happens It's hilarious when it does cause it's then they realize how badly they messed up
My opponent had 12 cards left while I still had 34, so that method probably wouldn't have worked. His main out was putting something else on my field (which Ira was gradually making impossible to blocking my zones) and something with a Kaiju-like effect. But they seemingly didn't have one.
I just looked up the effect of crooked cook but as I understood, it shouldn't protect you from attacks. It should only protect from card effect. So, why did it not get destroyed by normal attacks?
If made with the right XYZ Material, the Cook can't be destroyed by battle. This makes it almost impossible to out if you don't have Piercing Damage, a kaiju, or some way to give the opponent more material.
As a wise man once said, uh... READ, N----A I'm not saying the actual word because I'm not a COMPLETE moron, but still READ, THE CARD, YA DUNCE Save yourself the humiliation, ya bollocks!
You’d really think after the first battle against the cook, they’d learn their lesson in that you can’t touch the cook. But then they went for that second battle…interesting choices.
Kashtira player can lock all other zone and wait to draw a handtrap like Kaiju or summon Underworld Goddess of Closed World. We can use Orge effect to make sure opp can't draw lavagolem, nibiru, kaiju or others handtrap. If all goes well the kashtira player can win. But if he doesn't has Kaiju or Something can tribute crooked cook in his deck😅
I REALLY wanted to look at my opponent's deck after the match to see if he even had something to out Crooked Cook. But since our duel was in the Duelist Cup, you can't view the decks your opponent's used. So unfortunately we'll never know.
@@allenofblacksteel9169 Yeah, Kash isn't nearly as strong in Master Duel as it was in the TCG. Diablosis and Terraforming are banned, Prosperity and Wraitsoth are at 1, and Fenrir is at 2, so it's bricky as hell, and the main boss Ariseheart, while strong as hell, dies to a million outs, especially now that Thrust is out, which Ariseheart always makes live.
As a crooked cook player i love this. Cook is the most respectable deck. No negates, no floodgates, your opponent is allowed to do anythibg he wants... except winning that is...
I may hate Kashtira, but I also have just as much hate for anyone running the untouchable crooked cook combo. Total kill joy card whenever I see it in XYZ festivals.
Believe me, I honestly didn't want to play it. But with the hand I was dealt versus the board I was facing, it was my best option in my deck. The ENTIRE time though, I was WAITING to get Kaiju'd. I was ready to laugh and just applaud my opponent and just say "Good Game"! I honestly didn't expect the surrender though, so suddenly I ended up just getting chest pains from laughing too hard.
Why Crooked Cook does not get destroyed at the battle phase ? i didn't see an effect who protect this card from battle destruction, if someone can explain me, thx
This duel of mine was in the "Duelist Cup". The event doesn't allow you to see the deck list your opponent had. As for myself, I personally don't like showing my list because in my experience, it only leads to "elites" criticizing/questioning my choices.
@@Bronymonster44don't be a gatekeeper it's just a kids card game. But I'd anything give us pointers to be able to assemble what you asked the weekend because I hate kash
I've never encountered an archetype that hates the idea of someone else playing YGO as much as the Kashtira. Good on you, may their save file corrupt and their system brick.
Im somewhat new to yugioh. Dont like chasing meta in anything. Blue eyes was my entry. Got galaxy eyes as my favourite to play with sky strikers(not 100% set up), a new blue eyes and been messing with mikanko. 2 dexks i hate are espurrely and kashitra. At least the cats you can do something sometimes but kashtira going first makes doing anything painful. You place a catd and an effect triggers, use an effect and its negated and no graveyard effects work bc they get banished instead. Its painful. Even casual is littered with it. Cant have any fun at all with it being there tbh. Most other decks i find interesting when i loose and want to learn more and sometimes learn to counter using the same tools i had before in my galaxy eyes but god damb kashtira is the worst thing ever. Hate it with a pashion 😅 Looking into crooked cook now 😂
Yugi-tuber: Hey guys, today we're going to give those meta archetype players a taste of their own medicine! *proceeds to whip out kaijus, evenly matched, dark ruler no more, a conveniently top decked raigeki, and crooked cook moral of the story: when someone is being toxic, the best way to counter them is by being even worse
I remember playing galaxy eyes and my opponent was running kash and i used ash to negate their special summon and they quit immediately 😂😂 I guess they couldn't do anything else Really wish i was recording it, i laughed so hard
Bro kash players are so stupid it's actually insane. He literally could have just kept milling his deck and go for a deck out but for some reason decided to zeus and wipe his field. Make it make sense💀
The card that cost him the game was his own Pot of Desires, leaving a deck out win con just out of reach, which by the looks of it was his only playable card in the opener. He played as well as he could've without hindsight, and in the end went out on his own terms.
You can use most deck to pilot fun combos Buh u see that thing called Kashtira I doubt even d player enjoy their own play. All their so called interactions are just hindrances No weird lines to full conbo no big brain plays just eithier a kashmoney hand or ur bricked up hard. Even it's tech cards are hindrances
Honestly...the only big brain move for Kashtira player to try is to deck him out. But I guess when you're desperate to try anything like an anime and well not read.
im say it kash mains = brain dead player. Seriously kash is just ojama simplified. When they run into gene, albion, tear, even sprite they just get obliterated because all they ever do is run the exact same combo, its like a hive mind of copy paste
