Yes, when they came out here, it was the first time I would be the one cleaning the toilet. I always had my husband do it, as I just could not deal. He still has to clean out the bathtub drain, though, and it's so wrong of me, because it is mainly my long hair that needs scooping out. I just can't do it.
@stluee LOL! I use it too! He would do it if I asked, I promise. We share the household duties, even though I don't work outside the home. He's a keeper!

Okay so Clorox makes one of those and I bought a kit and used it but honestly, i found that my cheap sponges and bleach was just easier and cheaper and i feel like i can clean the toilet better with my sponge and then just throw it away after a use because i can get 6 for a dollar😂❤️ So glad you found this and you like it so much!!❤️❤️
I’ve just found the clorox one on amazon does it smell bleachy or no? 🤔 Yes my toilet cleans will very much still consist of bleach and steamer however this is ideal for a in between clean you know when you just wanna be captain cautious and give it a quick going over on the inside only 🥰♥️ Hope your ok darl xxx
I can’t remember if it smells bleachy or not, i think it smells like their toilet bowl cleaner which has bleach in it and they also make an ocean type one but i never used it😂❤️ I’m doing good hope you are well too!

Are these scrubbies biodegradable? No. So it’s just more garbage for our landfills. I suggest buying one with biodegradable scrubbies. Let’s be part of the solution!

.. I bet I was using my equally effective disposable method before this contraption was invented ... I've always kept a "ragbag" of old but clean useful stuff in my cleaning cupboard and I still use cheap sponges/old toothbrushes to scrub stains away from my toilet bowl then I drop them straight into a disposable bag, tie it up tight and sling it straight down the waste disposal chute.

Thank you liked this idea,,, has I personally really hate toilet brushes to, but I couldn't wash the toulet stick in my sink where we brush our teeth and wash our hands, water splashes spread bacteria. With respects, I would use a container to wash the stick in bleach and chuck it away, ❤
It’s kind of a redundant sink we don’t really use it that often and never for brushing our teeth. All my sinks and surrounding areas are bleached over and over and over and the bleach kills off any bacteria or germs. I still don’t use a toilet brush I prefer to use a cloth and your going to hate this but I put that cloth in the sink with bleach 🤦🏽♀️ I know it grosses some people out but I have spoken to so many people and scientists about bleach and how it works that i know it’s virtually impossible for bacteria to survive when it hits bleach so whenever I clean anything my rule is always once you’ve finished clean and sanitise the area you were using whether it’s the sink the bath. I put my toilet seat in the bath to with bleach 🤣 and I clean my vacuums in the sink. The most important thing is whether it’s cooking or cleaning that you clean the area and sanitise everything once you’ve finished ❤️❤️❤️ Sending hugs xxxx
But the stick would go into the bottom of the bowl as the sponge is not long ! The end of the stick would have to be put in bleach to soak afterwards ??? But I guess it’s better than trying to clean a disgusting brush !! ❤️
Hmmmmm 🤔 I suppose if you swish it at the bottom yes it would do your right Marilyn I didn’t dunk it in that far down. That’s why thick bleach is so good because it settles on the base of the toilet and breaks down and germs or bacteria 🦠 xxxx
@@hayleyshelp If you really love the product then that’s good. We all know you , Hayley. Even if the stick doesn’t reach the water we know you will still bleach it. We all have different ways of cleaning the loo. I really need to get some thick bleach. I’ve been slack with products lately. I’ve been using Ajax cream cleanser to clean the toilet. I put on a long rubber glove and scrub the whole bowl by hand. And throw out the rag and hang washed glove outside. I mentioned this on a post on Facebook. And some woman said “ ewww how disgusting “. I don’t think it’s as disgusting as people using a brush and shoving it back into the holder. I’m the only one who uses my toilet. I just ignored the stupid cow lol. Loved the video Hayley. I’m always looking to see if you are on with another video to share. Love them. 👍❤️
Noooooo that’s not disgusting that’s exactly how I do my toilet and it got a score as clean as a surgeons knife! I promise it’s not disgusting I will still be cleaning my toilet that way and using my magic wand for in between times during the day. To clean a toilet you need to not only do the inside but the outside that’s why by doing it by hand works so well. Some people are so bloody horrible aren’t they 🥺♥️♥️♥️♥️

That’s a very minimal toilet tank...easy to clean. How do you have such little water in the toilet though? The worst part of toilet cleaning for me is knowing that as I do it the water is microscopically splashing around.
Germs still get on the stick part, water splashes. How do you clean in water and not the hole part and not get germs on it, my toilet has water in it. I could never put it in my sink to wash even with bleach. That's just me tho.
I often get asked about this I totally understand, I’ve worked with bleach for many years so I know exactly the process that happens and the sanitisation it provides anything bleach touches it kills, this is why it was used during the Ebola outbreak etc it’s incredibly impressive at killing anything it comes into contact with. I totally though understand why lots of people are like yuuuk 🥰 I can’t remember of the top of my head if I show the process in this video but i have on others and after my sink has been used for anything even slightly gross it gets deep cleaned and bleached along with the gloves I’m wearing any cloths then get soaked in bleach and put on a 90 degree wash cycle. This is exactly why I don’t like toilet brushes I much prefer and still do just like to use cloths, bleach and rubber gloves 🧤 I hope that makes sense, I’m not the most articulate person in the world 🤦🏻♀️ Lots of love ☺️ xxx

It is a good idea to clean the wand afterwards, especially with when you have toilets that have a lot more water in the bowl. I think I’d use a bucket instead of my sink. I’m allergic to bleach. I have water that leaves yellow residue on the bowl. Also it is hard to clean down the throat of the toilet. How well does that type of brush clean down the throat? Idk if that’s the right word but that’s what I call it. My brushes that I’ve tried just can’t get down in the very bottom of the bowl down the throat.
I bleach the sink after it’s been used it’s funny because I prefer using the sink because I feel like I can fully wash it all away, I panic a bit more with buckets 🤷🏻♀️ I do suffer from OCD though so things that aren’t logical to some make perfect sense in my mind. No it doesn’t really go around the bend bit at the bottom, I always have used a cloth or sponge, gloves and bleach for a thorough toilet clean. ♥️
Lubeka - I got a Lubeka earlier this year - expensive, but they say one will last a lifetime, and now have one in all my bathrooms - haven’t had to look at a toilet brush in months… and when I go to a house that has the old type brush now I feel a mix of horror and pity!
It does however it’s not so much the contact that bothers me it’s the aftermath of it just sitting there this can just go into the bin 🙌🏽 I’m a weirdo aren’t I 🤦🏽♀️♥️ Sending hugs Angela xxx
@@hayleyshelp no I don't think your a weirdo at all. I'd much rather have a cleaning ocd than chronic fatigue syndrome and depression that I have. I want to do all the organising and cleaning but I physically can't do a great amount. I clean what I can. ❤🇬🇧

What is the matter with all you ridiculous people.I have never heard of anyone being harmed or poisoned by a toilet brush in the whole of my existence. How do you all cope when you have something really concerning in your lives?
Thank you for your comment, many of us here suffer from a mental illness called obsessive compulsive disorder, it comes in many different forms but one of them is contamination (bacteria, germs etc) It causes the individual to have very real fears and toilet brushes can indeed be one of them due to a feeling of what might happen if one is used. I understand someone who doesn’t have the illness may not understand this but to someone living with the mental illness the irrational fears are very uncomfortable and debilitating at times. OCD effects 1.2% of the population
