He was actually right when he said that creating mortals stronger than gods was a failure of the Kai. It only makes sense he would want Goku's power. He probably felt entitled to it.
what I'm not sure is in what sense he said that. I'm not sure if it was because goku could kill zamasu or because, if zamasu holds his punches, beerus himself would kill him. either way. I agree if a god of destruction tells you that if you hold back you die. you know you must do your best and more.
@@WilliamWizer Zamasu here isn't even remotely strong enough to beat Goku. He couldn't even handle SSJ2. If goku went blue there would be no difficulty for goku.
@@LaFonteCheVi we all know that. zamasu didn't. hell, even zamasu's master wouldn't believe it. but my point is that goku would hold his punches as much as needed to avoid true harm. if you combine both things it may be possible that beerus was refering to "I'm going to kill you" instead of "he's going to kill you"

Isnt that the reason he dislikes goku? Bc hes strong enough to challenge gods. Doesnt even make sense. You can dislike someone and still admire their strength
How embarrassing would to be to train for hundreds or thousands of years as a kai and be beaten by a mortal in around 5 seconds with almost zero effort

All the comments about his comment about Zamasu being strong for a 'regular kai' are a little off. From Goku's perspective, from his universe, even the supreme kai was on the weak side. From Goku's perspective, he's giving a compliment, as Zamasu was stronger here than any of the kai he'd met thus far.
I never imagined a lower level creature could be this strong .. lol and then comes along Super Saiyan Blue .... then KaiKen enhanced SSB ... then Ultra Instinct. All in a mortal. Yeah gotta love anime!

It is stated in the manga that saitama broke is "limiter" and has infinite power potential, even God is trying to kill saitama but fails. He will always be stronger no matter how strong the opponent is. That's just how it is you cant compare goku with saitama because they are different cases .
