Spirituality is something you live and breath within yourself, it manifests itself through moments like when a 3 or 4 year old figures out how to tie their shoes all by themself for the very first time ..

The issue now is to be able to discern what is the truth from various sources of information. On my journey, I feel like no one is really there to help me answer my doubts and I have to figure it out on my own.

Sometimes it is better to trust existing traditions with wisdom proven over decades, centuries, or thousands of years. I try to focus my explanations and interpretations primarily on them, although I myself tend to make mistakes or interpret something incorrectly. However, I know for sure that devotion and concentration on one path and consistent systematic adherence to its teachings will be safer and more useful than being scattered across many sometimes dubious practices.

Yes, I think this is so. The differences often arise only in concepts. The female dynamic and active force of Shakti is the same as Prakriti in the Samkhya traditions, and the male static force of Shiva is the same as Purusha in Samkhya. This understanding can be achieved through yoga practice. Shaivism and Shaktism traditions include yoga practices and chakra activation as parts of their spiritual disciplines. Central to Shaktism is the awakening of Kundalini energy and guiding it through the chakras to reach the crown chakra, symbolizing the union of Shakti with Shiva. That is, it will have to be arrived at not only intuitively, but also practically.
