No problem, the goal is to provide quality scientific information, if a video falls below this standard it will be redone to meet and exceed this high quality standard. Glad to hear you liked the re-post and clarification provided.

Great video, sorry for the heated debate over this issue. I truly hope you did not lose any sleep over it. Your videos are inspiring focal point in which growers look to too find answers. In a world of other only looking to make their faces seen and their pockets fat. Your a great man who honors and values his word. For those who love him. Every one of your fans do love you and look forward to seeing more from you. Thanks again and have a great evening.

Cute girl, be mindful of this point. I hope and know you too will find a beautiful woman who shares your love of knowledge, wisdom and, enlightenment. These kind of woman are truly hard to find in this day and age. However hope is never fleeting and one thing I can promise you is that love is not all but gone from this world. True love shall find you. Just as your hard work, perseverance, and leadership has guided others. It shall find you once again a man of honor.

No problem if there is an issue with any video please provide comments, if corrections need to be made they will be made. generally if your doin things correct and things are goin well and you stay on top of things you don't have to mess with green lights during lights off to work in the room they can manage to wait till light comes on and do the work. been growing 5 years never needed to go in my room while light was off.

This is a good point and you are in an fully indoor room/area you can set the 12/12 period to best fit your schedule allowing you to take a break when it is "night" for the plants.

Have you ever heard of using chamfer and water mix to get rid of mites or soaking hardwood ashes in water and straining it and spraying it for mites and other insects. But mostly mites of most kinds. A friend of mine in Indonesia says this is what the people there makes up and uses on their plants since they like organic growing ? Let me know please if you have and if it works. I’m going to try a small amount on some spider mites and white flies and see what happens. Thanks for all of your videos. They are really a help to us all beginners and pros. Two years now mites has just totally about took over everything and I just don’t have the medicine to get me threw the season once again. I’ve tried most everything on RU-vid about organic mixes that hasn’t worked. The best thing so far is a high pressure watering underneath the leaves for a week and it’s helped but not much. Thanks again doc.

Interesting to hear, beneficial insects is the route studied and this has been proven effective.

If you go to Monster Gardens and search for their video on Green Lights for Dark Cycles they show that actually the Green CFL "party light" that you used as a demo .... Is not 100% green. It puts out light in both the yellow and blue wavelengths. I would not use one of those for even a moment, when you can get pure green from an LED. I bought an Iluminar Green 40w LED, and I have since been chasing my tail on what is the "truth" about Green.... Having seen both Bugbee and another professor say that "green is photosynthetic" I was, in all honesty... Not confident to use this light that I bought and was considering complaining to Iluminar that their product was not suitable for a growroom (I'll shut my word hole now). DeBacco has shone some light on this topic (did I just pun? Haha) and finally I can see clearly (another pun?). I'll be mounting the light way way way up high and it's only for short period use anyway. Thanks Professor.

Glad to help, the key is the distance to reduce the PAR on the plant, and we are sensitive to the light so it takes less of it for us to be able to see. Ideally, dark should be dark, but this offers an option.

I bought one of those led strips on a roll, it's stuck around the inside of my tent.l keep it set on green. It has NEVER done my photos any harm, though I don't like to keep it on more than 5-10 minutes 👍

All the people too lazy to do their own research is astonishing. Walking around with a supercomputer in their pocket but not enough IQ and energy to use it. Great video professor!

What does chlorophyll absorption have to do with light sensitive protein (cryptochrome) reactions?

This is part of the plants perception of light.

@@DeBaccoUniversity Light sensitive proteins perceive light and not chlorophyll...right? It appears you are stretching the definition of "perception".
