Nodak81 I specifically said “...exceed their own aspirations regularly.” This varies per person considering many have their own dream lives they wish to live (most I know care not to rule a planet). Thus, why must one rule a world/planet in order to achieve their full potential? What if that’s not what they wish? What if they wish to be the ones that bring world peace, beat cancer or something of the like to bring positivity to entire world versus “ruling” it? Furthermore, as insulated in my hopeful message for readers to do something bigger than themselves in combination with your interesting reply, why stop at the world? Why not rule a galaxy if you’re truly ambitious with your potential? Point being, few I know strive to obtain a stupendous life for themselves beyond what they’ve been typically conditioned to believe they can obtain/told to achieve by their own cultures. My wish is simply for them to exceed their OWN personal life goals, since many give up for a plethora of reasons. Interesting to see where your personal aspirations lie though :P

@@JonWayes But living up to your personal goals is not what potential is. Potential is what is literally POSSIBLE in your life. You might get a 100% in your class but you could have gotten higher with all that extra credit. Anyone could do just about anything within human possibility, it's just that we refuse to cross the lines and dedicate ourselves wholly to a single cause under a single leader. Which is why we both have freedom and we also don't like dictatorships and oppression.

Yeah, RU-vid LITERALLY makes no sense to people that didn't grow up with it. There's so much stuff nowadays that people actually make a living doing that, 20 years ago, people were saying "Man, I wish I got paid to do that." I don't know how many times growing up I said "Man, I wish I could get paid to play video games!" Granted, there's more to it than that, but that's the gist of it.

Oh, I remember the other day my 8 year old, he was trying to explain SuperMech & Universe Sandbox to to my 82 year old mom and the look on her face. XD She was trying to follow along with the "you level up the mech by upgrading...etc., etc." he lost her on that one. Think only game she understood was when i was younger and had my Atari 5200 and played Frogger, Q*bert, etc.

You can tell Larry went off script to ask that question that rolled from the previous answer. He had no idea. Anyhow, I find Larry King's "questionnaire" bland and I don't think he cared to talk to a RU-vidr. Didn't talk down to his guest but you could tell he wasn't enthusiastic about his guest. Larry King is too old to be doing what he's doing though and needs to just get off the podium.

Wow, this is something I’d never expect to see. Larry King meets Mark Edward Fischbach (better known as Markiplier)... to me, this is like Old World meets New, Past meets Present. I mean, Larry King Live was a frequent news show watched when I was a kid (there wasn’t a day that passed, it seems, when I wouldn’t see him on the TV at least once). Now, as an adult, a day hardly passes where I don’t see one of Mark’s entertaining videos on RU-vid. I think it’s amazing to have these two sitting in the same room together.

@@jenreii that's correct i know it was targeted to adult but mostly kid watches gameplay video and play them unfortunately from someone like Markiplier in my place little kids watch them oh it's kinda awkward as any adult and young adult like me to watch these around more older generation like 40 and up as they still have stigma like "game only for little kids" in my country. It does kinda decreasing since now they started to fiddle around smartphone game so no excuses I hope

I'm watching the full interview now, because I felt like it was too impersonal and saw that there was a full interview in the description. The bit here, "If you only knew" is apparently the segment that is just rapid-fire questioning. It's meant to be quick and on-the-spot. The full interview is much better. It's not so cut and dry.

Markiplier is such a perfect example of an amazing performer. When I watched this interview, I got excited for him, as if I was watching an old friend showing up on Larry King. Markiplier has an incredible talent for connecting with his audience and making his viewers feel like his closest friends. I think this is a big reason why we love him so much.

One of the things that separates Mark from other RU-vidrs, in my eyes, is his level of professionalism. Yes he can be silly and goofy, and that’s what we love about him. But he is an incredibly genuine, intelligent, and mature individual outside of his videos. I honestly strive to be like him.
