Finally managed to get over 100 subs which I'm super happy about! A long way to go before I get monetised but this channel has provided me some amazing insights on my journey. Thank you vidIQ!
I think the best advice is you grow your skills and your channel, and your numbers will grow along the way. If your core focus is money or subs then you have your priorities wrong. They are the reward for hard work and views tell you that you are on the right track 😊❤
I started uploading consistently this year because I finally wanted to focus on uploading on YT. It is crazy how just upload consistently has helped grow even if it is slow. Don't give up for anyone out there that get disheartened! Keep going! And have fun! 👍🏽
Thanks for all the great info as always. Finally close to 1,000 subs. Don't give up people. It can be a grind but just stay focused and make it enjoyable!
Small channel here 👋Your channel helped me so much. Every time I adjust, change something after your video 😅 Reviews are very helpful as well I didn’t get chance to be reviewed but I learned from other small channels with better luck 😅 • good thumbnail • good content • be consistent •SEO Do it and slowly You will grow ❤ Good luck 🎉
Hello everyone. I'm from the Philippines and I am aspirant youtube creator with small subscribers and has a small views. I love watching many kinds of tutorial on how to manage properly their youtube channel in order to grow properly like this. I just wanna say thank you for sharing to us a video like this because it will helps us (small youtube creators) a lot on how to grow our channel better. God bless us all and also our youtube channel. Have a great day to us.
My channel I started last summer is still very small, and was put on hiatus last Fall when I had to have back surgery, but I got my mojo back finally and am on a roll again. Your videos are fantastic and I am learning so much from you! Focus and determination will get our small channels growing, patience is the key for me!
Small Channel Here 👋 Greetings from Manchester, England. Much appreciated your videos. They really help me to understand how things work on YT. Here to take my daily dose now. 🙂👌
Small channel here. I quit my job last year and my plan was to work on the channel i had started in march but since last year i still have 97 subscribers. I have realized that growing a RU-vid channel is hard. However quiting is not an option and i am hoping seeing the comments here my channel will change for the better. Thank you for the video
I have a full time job as a history professor. I put my videos up for my students, then others started to watch them. Since I don't rely on this for income, I more make the videos when I have some extra time. It makes it more enjoyable. It has taken a few years but I am almost at 13K subscribers. I don't make much revenue, but I think the key is enjoying it. If it starts to feel like a grind then its ok to pause for a while.
@divatalk9011 thank you. Very kind of you! It seems so small in YT world. It's also amazing how little revenue you make with getting 1000 views a day. I make more revenue from selling the unit studies that go with my videos. Baby steps!
exactly. I had one of my videos comparing the Napoleon movie to the History of Napoleon get about 15,000 views and only make $75. To really make any serious revenue through views you need to have about 30,000 views DAILY. Which is hard to do for many small one man person channels. I make more money selling the unit studies. @@divatalk9011
Im happy seeing how well im fulfilling my goals. i predominantly rely on experimentation, testing out new tech\tech. gotten use to cutting the bad monotonous fat in gaming vids more and more, reusing what would be trashed vids with edits to make something of them. testing, experimentation, testing, experimenting and i start judging and critiquing my own vids seeing what better i could or what was perfect and i can carry on for next time. Always remembering to not self-delude myself. one day i will buy that full version of DRS.
Vid IQ was a huge inspiration in motivation for hitting 25 subscribers! Then when we hit 100, we were ecstatic. Hitting 500 felt like a massive move forward! And now, on our way to our first 1k subs, we still look to Vid IQ for tips and tricks in how to keep moving forward. Thanks so much! 🎉
teeny tiny channel here, may finally be finding a routine that works for me and hoping to be able to post a weekly video consistently. Thanks for all the info its been amazing
i am a slightly big creator and because most of your videos are the same types ''focusing on small creators'' i don't really want to click on your videos but once i clicked on it i found out that it helps bigger creators wanting to make money but it didn't say that in the title or thumbnail so if you can make that clear it would be really helpful. Thanks
Thanks for the tips i started this channel 2 weeks ago not doing bad so far over 100k overall views 220 subs ur tips and tricks in previously videos helped me as well
One thing that has worked for me is connecting with the homeschool community. They enjoy using my lectures as a free resource. Finding a community that has interest in your content and making more content that they want really helps! I just hit 10K a couple months ago!
The defining your style piece is probably one of my biggest hurdles right now, however, I am starting to find more of the styles of videos that I like. Maybe, I should start implementing some of that style in my own videos.
Thanks for the advice. I have 630+ subscribers so far hoping to grow more this year. Atm my audience is minecraft players as well as a few different survival games
I didn’t notice that there’s not really much advice for commentary channels out there. I do love this channel because you talk about faceless channels, but it would be interesting to know your thoughts on the commentary community as a whole.
Hey guys! I really enjoy your content. I've just started my channel and trying to focus on making small improvements with each video :) One thing I noticed though... in this video, you did a great job of opening those curiosity gaps in the intro by not showing the actual steps - but then you reveal them in the chapter titles! I don't know if that was intentional or not, but I recently watched a roast video from @ThatNateBlack where he roasted a video that did the same thing, and he pointed it out as a mistake. Just thought I'd share with you for interest's sake. Thanks for the great content!!
Suggestions that help me: Post regularly ( at least 1 or 2 times a week). Visit and comment on 5,10 videos daily ( your comment is your link to your channel). Join a live stream. I'll be Live Saturday night 7pm 😎
I feel ur pain over 2 years trying to get The Allgaiers Garage On RU-vid going and 197 subs is it. Have pretty much given up and ran out of money for projects
This is for small channels: Hi i am i channel with almost 1.5k and the key to doing well from my experience are a few things: 1. Consistancy- Be consistent with your audience. People may love your content, but arent going to subscribe if you post every 3 months. It doesn’t even have to be content the other type of consistency starts at #2 2. Interaction: interact with your audience. Let them know your open for feedback. At the end of the day, your mostly posting for your audience so let them have a say.
