It's funny how hangman was the first one people started struggling on was also the first one that had sort of a job to do other than just hold the trigger button down..

Rerolled the debuff to get a higher score multiplier. At around 200%, it is mostly guaranteed you can roll higher, but it will be a pain to hit only weak points or no 🪝. Just look at a not so painful debuff to deal with.

​@injurio almost impossible to hit only weak points on console even with aim assist turned down, it kinda just randomly pulls when he moves slightly 😂 I do really well on weakppints, but if I miss once I'm screwed or only? Cause if so, big L for me at least. Sniper only 😂

@@injurio i always go with 220% as i've had 200% runs where it still wasn't enough. and a tip for people who are unfamiliar with the score bonus modifiers - NEVER EVER TAKE GRAPPLE DISABLED. There are missions you cannot complete without grapple

Once you get into infiltration mission on hagios and fortress, you will definitely see the difference.

Def is not worth using over 20-25k . You are perfectly fine with 15k . Go for hp or even shield instead. Def can be lowered by the enemies , the fall off is too high and hp collectibles give you percentage of your max hp. You will be at least 2-3 times more tanky with high hp and mid def

I feel like an activater is a better requirement, it adds more than a single catalyst. But that still doesn't ensure they've built for survival stats to some extent which is necessary in higher content and neither does the level requirement. Unfortunately there just isn't really a good way to ensure they won't be spending most of the fight crawling on the ground unless they add some sort of survival requirements and locking equipment to prevent them from swapping out of survival stuff once they're in que.

@@thegrindshack that sucks. I never noticed because i usually run these solo or with a couple friends. Once you have a decently built character though they aren’t bad at all solo.

@@zach2930 Yeah I can solo it with my ajax but it would take about 9 minutes to do so. Not good when you are farming imo

@@thegrindshack agreed. Plus Ajax is really bad for farming and really bad in general right now IMO. Bunny, valby, lepic or freyna can speed through those invasions so easily. I started with Ajax and regretted it. Maybe when even higher level content comes he will have a place but in the games current state you can make any character extremely tanky with the right gear. No status resistance mods are needed just minimum 40k defense and 10k HP. So DPS characters have a huge advantage right now with ad and boss clears. Honestly Im fine with that as I am having a blast with them. My enjoyment level went through the roof as soon as i got off Ajax.

I have Gley and can't get past Hard mode bosses, not enough damage enough with 5 catalysts.

As an ajax main he has no damage himself so you need a good gun, My investment into tamer by the time i solo'd hard pyro was action and reaction, rifling reinforcement, weak point sight, elemental mods for the occasion, and fire rate up all maxed out (a few maxed mods is significantly better than a lot of low mods,) importance of the mod being in the listed order. 1 activator will give you enough to throw all that on if you're maxed and 1 catalyst should give you enough to start throwing on some other stuff to help a little more and by that point soloing everything before obstructor and doing enough damage to kill obstructor shouldn't be an issue (farthest i've gone, haven't tried frost walker yet) but obstructor heavily depends on your team doing mechanics properly so it's still hit or miss. High rolled substats of firearm attack, weak point damage, an elemental damage or dmg vs colossus and crit rate or crit damage helps a ton as well. I use an offhand that's also general rounds with expand general magazine, general rounds compulsive, and normal impact rounds refining. those maxed out will give you about 800 max general rounds when you pick up ammo with that gun out and change green rounds into general rounds at a pretty generous rate (100 per green in normal gameplay, then 200 or 300 in colossus fights) taking off a lot of the ammo worries as long as you swap before grabbing ammo. Mine aren't quite maxed out on expand and compulsive so it lets me hold a lil over 700 which still helps a ton. Less time wasted running around to grab ammo means more time shooting the boss. Outside of that only tips i can give is kill those drones asap to slow down his invuln phases but that gun should be able to make light work of executioner so if you're still struggling it should either be survival or something in your play style to fix, not the gun itself.

It's not a pure tank build but more of a hard mode general farming build.

While it's the fastest, I still prefer the hard mode version right now as I can get more stuff to increase the power of my character.

@@o0TraceuR0o The normal has 3% while hard mode has 6%. That is expected runs are 37 vs 18 to get one (using median i.e. 68% probability to get 1 after x runs).

I tried the normal farm but it's super boring, and if you don't get a blueprint it's for naught. At least in hm you get more kuiper, dismantle mats and so on. And it's not as boring.

This is hard fact. The devourer even in hard mode is just a dps check and I hope that ppl will understand it by now.

Yeah I found that out the hard way, only put an activator on my tamer was fine at first dead bride was pushing it only beat it with 10~ seconds left.

Normal mode is no struggle but only progression. You level up your descendant on kingston until 40, upgrade your weapon, put the energy activator on it to increase dps, and just finish all until you get to hard mode. The farming begins in hard mode wherein imo, you have higher chance of getting ultimate items compared to the normal mode.

I am capable of farming every hard mode content right now so, I'll start farming those ultimate descendants and weapons. Thanks for the heads up by the way. I'll put it on the list of what to farm first.

@@thegrindshack It doesn't have an aoe proc like the thundercage but it does very high damage and has a lot of rounds per clip for an assault rifle. It's a good boss/colossus killer.

@@thegrindshack Python weak point build is broken. Also many seem to not be aware that using a machine gun in the last slot with both mods that increase ammo capacity will make the ammo carry over to your Tamer or SMG on a different bar. Having 800 ammo reserve without wasting the two mod slots is a huge bonus for a fast firing weapon.

Don't over commit to that gun, it is made for Freyna mob farming you can read the unique abilities of it, there's a ultimate AR that has decent Crit stats you can find there I forgot the name 😂

All I'm saying is to at least max rank your character before going into hard mode especially in intercept bosses. It always doesn't end up well when you have a low level character against bosses that scale with the amount of player in the team.

For Devourer use bunny and use her double jump damage passive and stay in between the legs. Private match is best too

The problem if they make like warframe , tfd will be less grindy and will be dead in no time because people can obtain every ultimate descendant, weapon easily... Bruh this game is not even 1 month old... If it to easy to obtain people will complain this game have no end game content

Agreed. This game makes me miss warframe’s simplicity. Everything in this game takes too much time and it’s hard find what you’re looking for. Mods are worded weirdly and it’s unclear what they do.

I also don't get why ppl are complaining about bunny though as you can actually build her to survive hard mode content. The problem is the players who are just joining hard mode matches looking to get carried by the team, and they end up dying a lot, increasing the time spend reviving them instead of focusing on killing mobs and the boss.

I've got an activator on and 6 catalyst. I'm fine in most dungeons.

@@thenightingale7405 Once you get to hard mode and got a decent setup, energy activator and catalyst is really not an issue anymore. I'm just sad that some people don't have the patience to wait until they have decent stuff to farm hard mode and just complain.

When u prestige it resets your level tho so some people have no choice putting in 6 catalyst on my jaber each time I did I got reset to 1

@Lotiondemhands yeh I get the whole reset then go level in waves since your shield an hp are low that's what I do I don't go into end game content with a half baked char even if I got 6 catalysts in it lol. Let's take my ultimate gley for instance level 40 with mods she sits at nearly 6k hp when I put a catalyst in her an she goes down to 0 an still has the hp mods in she only sits at 500 to 600 hp with the same mods as when she was level 40 that's how much your gimping your team

40 is the cap for player level, but yes you need to play hard mode to get lvl 100 gear drops

Simple you only have 1 shield hit points in return for increasing your descendants HP meaning if a monster hit you even just 1 hit your shield immediately shatter this is good to pe paired with an iron will mod will make your defence go higher if your shield is 0.

@@gDiscovery95 awesome great answer man i'll def look into that combo. I had a hard time believing having 1 shield would be worth the hp boost ya know but I guess it makes sense.

well, it depends on what you are doing tho I run ult viessa 2k hp and 8.5k def with a cd build 6 sec blizzard and 2s ice sphere is too good I just use weapons to add some dmg if I did not one shot them.

hard wrong. never invest in shield, unless you're Enzo. HP and Def is all you need. 600hp is ridiculous. 10k+ hp and 40-50k def is all you need. shield is a useless stat

If you check you a level 1 character against a level 40, then you see that you have lower defense and hp compared to being at max level. That's a huge difference in my opinion in terms of survivability. And the fact is, bosses in this game does scale with how many people are doing the mission, so it does matter.

@@thegrindshack I know that, but I can guarantee you that once you get to my level, meaning that I have only one level up process to be done to have a true max level character you do not care about levels, as level 1 bunny I can steamroll all hard missions no sweat. Group or no group.

It's really not a skill issue and no one is judging about how slow you can finish this mission. All I'm just suggesting is that players should max rank their stuff before entering hard mode boss fights and infiltration so that the run will be much easier.
