I’m a Filipino woman who migrated here legally last 1989 because America back then was in need of Registered Nurses. Now I’m retired after working here for over 30 yrs. I’m an immigrant who came here legally over 20 years ago from Ukraine. I’m a proud US citizen for much over a decade. I see what’s going on. When I was born, Ukraine was a soviet union country. I remember all the things that were happening there. I remember empty shelves in the stores, I remember standing in a half mile long line with my mom to buy a milk or a gum.
