This song reminds me of my longtime boyfriend. We were always on and off because he developed a drinking problem, and on more than one occasion was unfaithful. He worked through most of his issues, and I loved him too much not to forgive him. He was the love of my life, and he recently passed away and it devastated me more than words can say. The words to this song seem like him speaking to me. I will always remember you.
