The anointing you receive is the Holy Spirit, without which you are just an empty vessel. He is the power of God at work in those who have the Spirit. Romans 8:9,10,14,16. 1 John 2:27. You can have your oil anointed by asking the Holy Spirit to anoint it.

God has not just anointed you as Henderson claims. All born-again Christians today are anointed. Through Jesus Christ, believers receive “an anointing from the Holy One” (1 John 2:20). This anointing is not expressed in an outward ceremony but through sharing in the gift of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:11). At the moment of salvation, believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit and joined to Christ, the Anointed One. As a result, we partake of His anointing (2 Corinthians 1:21-22). It’s not something to be imparted from some NAR so called “super apostle” Henderson said: “The anointing causes us to be able to administrate the glory of God”. What even does this mean? When Isaiah 10:27 refers to the removal of the yolk, this speaks of the future freeing of Israel from compulsion to render service to foreign oppressors. To apply it as Henderson does is just plain wrong. Henderson idolises John G Lake. He was certainly not a genuine faith healer. It’s easy to find online that Lake was an adulterer, fraud, con-man and false prophet. He swindled thousands of dollars from his congregations, selling worthless mining stocks to church members. Why he is idolised by Bill Johnson and other NAR “apostles” is baffling. Henderson quotes the Lord as saying to him: “I take you out of the grind and put you into the groove” Does that sound like the God of the bible?
