Ken likes to hire people "for free." I'm shocked you would even entertain that idea. Don't you have principles? You let young people with no power and no resources work without paying them? That is shameful behavior. You should be embarrassed for even suggesting that. If you have permitted young people to work for you for free, you should be ashamed of yourself.

@meirbek241 I'm not sure what exactly you're doing, but if you ask me, I've filed in 9 businesses before, and I realised everyone was right but not forever. My point is it's normal failing when you are starting out. That's something my dad allows you to tell me. Just try different fonts of a different system of your business or company. And make sure you have a goal and a very strong plan on how you are going to go from 0 to 10,000 and 10,000 to 100,000 and 100,000 to 1000000 it's very easy when you start with one business and that business feeds the other or the two others. But yeah myself I'm still trying my best and I'm more forward and doing everything religiously so you should too prioritise one thing and one thing only your business ues the lil bit of money you have. And find a mentor and learn from him/her.

If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life

I was a victim of corporate restructuring and was faced with a 50% pay cut as a top producing sales person being replaced by computer generated replenishment systems. An older friend of mine who was a self-made millionaire with not even a high school diploma convinced me that I had the skills to start my own business. It took many years of hard work to build a good team and a solid customer base but now we are a multi-million dollar company. I started a construction buisiness at 20 as a young Dad who needed more income. I think your right though I was an anomaly because I had got into construction at a young age with my Dad. Instead of the typical high-school and then college I was homeschooled and worked in my teens. By the time I was 20 I had 10k to invest in a buisiness and value to add to the market. I think starting young has advantages, like the ignorance which allows you to take more risks, as well as the eagerness to improve the systems that are already practiced.

If you are in your 20's save up cash, buy property. Build yourself a modest house in a market with excessively high housing prices driven up by AirBNB's. I my market a 1500 sq ft run down houses built in the 50's are listed for $629k. Buying land and building myself will cost me less than $180k. The new house would list for over $700k in this market. Live in the house 2 years while you start building the next one. Qualify for a 250k single, 500k married capital gains tax exemption on the sale of your primary residence. So the answer is to still start your own business, but just seek employment with an industry you want to start in for experience & post college education. The issue I see going forward, is now that the US is stuck in a debt spiral & tech changing the economy. Industries like properly management probably aren't going to work. Consider that Commerical real estate is now in a long term bear market because of empty office buildings & legalized shoplifting in many blue states. Very likely era of cheap & easy credit is over & the US is stuck in a long term stagflationary economy that will transition into a hyper-inflationary depression. With consumers & business deep in debt & most insolvent I am not sure what will be worthwhile to invest in that will return strong profit & growth over the next 5 to 10 years.

Thanks for your videos. I completely agree. Work for free. Surround yourself with successful people. The Problem is that Most 20 year olds have only spent their lives in Public Schools learning to be a cog in a wheel. There is a complete lack of teaching kids a trade when they are in the system - therefore they are completely caught flat footed when they hit the real world. We homeschool and start teaching our kids a work ethic as soon as they can walk. We teach them how to be property managers, flip homes, book keeping, etc etc we run multiple businesses and start teaching them these skills at a very young age. I believe that if parents stopped trusting the government to prepare their kids for their future and started surrounding their kids with wise successful people and giving them “tools for their tool belts” we would have a much different story out there.

@BlackSun90 yeah you gotta lower the cost much as possible. But I already pay 1k a month to rent a commercial kitchen. By law it's required for trucks. So after I obtain all the equipment for the location. The costs will still be like 1500 a month. And I can open a 2nd and 3rd food truck. Since if I opened more trucks without a location. I will be paying 1k per food truck per month to rent a kitchen. If that makes sense.

Work for "free" has an odd ring to it and may not resonate too well. If one is truly business minded, then they know at some point they will need to work for a long-term "profit," not a short term wage. Be profit oriented, not wage oriented, running out the door as soon as the business day has ended.

As a 40+ broke hobo, I can verify this is a good advice. Although because of your enormous greed wanting people to work for you for free, many would not take this serious and would rather think you're some sort of a clown. That's pretty funny.

They have no skills and they have no capital. People love to exagherate their accomplishments, especially on the internet. They'll say, "I started a million dollar construction company when I was 25!" What they don't tell you is that they're in extraordinary debt, their business is failing and they can barely afford to eat. It's not the case for all of them, but I would venture to say it is for most. Especially in this economy where people can't afford to pay what you have to charge in order to make a profit. There are plenty of decent paying jobs out there that give you plenty of free time. You just have to find them and learn to manage your money until you have a comfortable amount to chase other goals outside of it. The idea that there's no reward without extreme risk is a load of horse crap

if I don't make you money, I don't get paid ... what does that mean when you provide no security to people and only would pay them if they perform and generate income, that's not a job, that's a low end sales job with empty promises of making it later.. again you're not planning to make 500k this year later.. it's this year - where you'll end the year as the major shareholder who cuts whatever check they like for themselves, and them holding a smelly bag and a commission check. That's not a fair deal papa. - Include people in the structure of the company, give them long term benefits and security, and then see if they can generate commissionable income .. provide security for people, that's true leadership, not making money and security for yourself only and having people work around the clock for you for ultimately nothing in the end. Where they have to start all over again in order to create something for themselves. Kids, if you're reading this and you're just starting out- stop selling your self cheap.

That's a weird business model. Expecting people to work for free. Especially in their 20s. How do you survive your 20s before learning from the mentor enough to start your own business later?
@Hollywood-p2c
@Hollywood-p2c Месяц назад
Okay, you're right about that most people in their 20s can't start a business yet because they still have a kid mindset. But what I don't agree with you on is not starting a business because it's almost like you're telling me not to make my movies I always wanted to make sense when I was 12 years old. I will not agree with you on that part.

The part of get some experience before starting your own business, is actually a good advice! The part of "work for free", definitely not. I get what you are trying to say, but that's not the right framing in my opinion. Focus first on work hard, learn, grow professionally, and and second in the compensation or the benefits. But from there to "I will work for free", no my dude. I will do my part and try to excel at your organization, you do your part and pay me, thank you.
