On god best believe I ever win, no one will know not even my own kids and I’m living like a simple upper class citizen. Kids better earn everything just like I did.
Im not worried at all about going broke if I won. Those people buy ridiculous things and try to live a ridiculouslifestyle. It doesnt take a genius to f8gure it out. Im already practical and simple.
I agree with most of what she said except for hire a lawyer. Some lawyees prey on lottery winners. And you never know. Taxes are going to be taken cared of by the goveenment before you even get the money.
Got all the points. Thank you for the heads up. I have already set up the financial consultants and have already decided on the family as well!! I am taking lumpsum and investing them first thing and then from the interest, I am writing checks to the family and making donations in my trust account.
If I won the lottery (millions) I would not buy flashy vehicles or clothing. I would buy a modest home, but it would not be flashy at all. I would like to help others though.
"Money is not the root of all evil" *SAY IT LOUDER, FOR THOSE IN THE BACK!* I'd also like to add that money does not change people, it just reveals who they are.
I won $10K in Florida! A tarot reader on RU-vid told me I would win. Her channel has lots of lottery stuff. It convinced me I would win. It’s called My Name Is Light.Good luck everyone! It’s yours! 🍀
@@oramishygone3887 hell is made up to scare us. Curses & evil too. The Catholic Church took the liberty of pulling the wool over your eyes, and it is not your fault. They sculpted religion to suit their needs to impart power over the people in control. They do not have control over me and I suggest you do the same by detaching from these false beliefs. Third eye open. Energy flowing. Shockers activated. Kundalini activated. Spinal fluid flowing. That is the Christ. Price is not someone who died on the cross so that you don’t go to hell for going to a casino. Or maybe you think that is. I choose the first because my god is the god of love and light, and would never put such a place as hell into existence for me to go to. You are smarter than that I hope.
@@megaisgod1 Here in New York that is true. However.... before Mario Cuomo was ousted from is position there was a bill in effect to make lottery winners anonymous. Mister Cuomo squashed that bill, by the way. Buuuuuut... he also gave winners a way out to remain anonymous. If you win in New York DON'T sign the back of the ticket right away. Mister Cuomo stated in his press release that lottery winners could start up an LLC (Limited Liability Company) and that the name of the LLC could take the place of your personal name. That also means that the lawyer would have to make a statement to the press and not the individual who won and.... you the person can remain anonymous. Keep in mind not signing the ticket right away gives you time to set up the LLC at a lawyer's office, and thereby signing the ticket with the name of the LLC instead of your own. So in the end it could be possible in other states as well to do the same if you can't remain anonymous. It'd be worth looking into.
Thanks for telling me everything I’m already gonna do. 😜 however you forgot to mention not to attract attention. Like wait a year before getting a new car. Probably best to move before getting anything new. Change jobs. And maybe higher a financial advisor.
USA laws regarding lotteries are wildly stupid and unfair. In my country, there are 2 biggest lotteries, Lotto which goes up to like 10mil$ and EuroJackpot with up to 120mil €. After winning, our country automatically gets 10% as a tax and you get the 90%. No dividing into lump sum or payments over 27 years, and no stupid 50% tax. And of course all winners are 100% anonymous, lottery has no right to publish their information, unless they want to do it. Lottery can only disclose the general location of where the ticket was bought, like a city.
I don't trust the lawyer. Does anyone know what to do without one? Outside of opening an LLC and trust account, will, beneficiaries, following the FDIC regulations and claiming anonymous, what else needs to be done. I was told not to sign the ticket if you file anonymous or they will disclose your name. Is that true?
Wait a minute? Let me come in here you mean to tell me I'm going to go broke within one year or two years it's going to take that damn long son-of-a-b**** Richard Pryor made a movie back in the 80s called Brewster's million. .ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FosFEzsLKiI.html
When I won a good sum, I bought stocks paying good dividends; and a property portfolio. The Trust followed, when income calculations could be worked out. This was based on a third rule, with the last third in more liquid investments for daily living and charity work. 😘
I've looked at many videos and the only difference between yours and their's is they say too get the money in annual installments because less taxes will be taken than if you get the lump sum. I just wanted to know why you suggest taking taking the lump sum?
Investing even a % of the $$$ will return bigger gains than you gave up in taxes (although taking the lump sum isn’t good for people who are bad with money)
If you win the lottery then go broke you kinda deserve it. Don’t be stupid. When your old roommate Pete reaches out “suddenly” after 24 years of no communication, right after you’ve won the lottery - tell Pete to get bent.
I’m not telling anyone anything. Ima just start helping family and friends & let them wonder where it came from & disappear most of the time & do whatever god directs me to do each day but I will never confirm where the money is coming from 😊
@@nalsra0 I've heard of inflation sir or ma'am but still as I'm wondering depending on what the lottery is. And also depends on the person as I said may finish faster. But thanks for the vague reply
I know... that's the essence of me having financial freedom is to live a comfortable life and to afford me time and finances to assist the less fortunate.
*She's literally insane. Truly, you're not obligated to give any of your money to a charity. Donating money to a charity doesn't imply that you can't help people in other ways.*
investing = losing money, if u invest in something that can cause u to lose money it can lead to disaster, dont listen to this people who tells u to invest ur money, get more than 1 bank account, place ur money in separate banks, move out from ur area completely, contact known security company to hide security for yourself or live within areas where the place is safe, and u get plenty of time for urself, live ur life and be wise and dont buy fancy food and waste ur cash, u can still buy healthy food from good farms or u can make ur own and hire workers there to create the best and most healthy food u can get, and stay in shape, and thank God for it and dont sleep around and sin, try to be good person, if u can then God will praise u, gl.
20% is too much. I’d give about 5% total. And only to my parents, siblings and perhaps grandparents. The cousins and uncle and aunts won’t get anything but perhaps a few thousand as a Xmas present to go on a holiday.
No take the Annuity payment. You will get monthly or yearly payments more of a portion goes to you. You won't have distant relatives coming knocking on your door.
You can never guarantee to be alive in the next few minutes. It’s a once in a life time thing possibly and we all live once. Hope you win it one day and remember me with few millions haha.
I’m confused re: the 20% for friends and family. I love my family and friends but with a huge lotto win, no way they’re getting $50 mil. The gift tax would be off the charts and they don’t need that amount. I’d send a majority to a charitable trust in the first year to offset taxes and then just invest in a conservative portfolio and real estate. Live off the principle. Now I just need to win. 😂
@@beejaybaoka tell your pastor I have a message for him. Matthew 21:13 “And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.”
I agree these are the most logical and sensible things to do upon a big win but it's not realistic. It would be the most amazing and exciting moment of your life and keeping it 100% to yourself would not only be impossible but a bit sad. You would NEED to share the experience with someone. Even if you tried to keep it secret, people would quickly know something is up. And naturally you'd want to celebrate, and celebrating would be appropriate. No way in a million years most people would forego celebrating in favour of immediately visiting their local lawyer to sit in a stuffy office and be bored out of their brain. Realistically, you should announce your win to those closest to you and celebrate with champagne and a lovely expensive dinner. However, personally I would keep the amount of the win a secret. I would tell people I'd won $50k or something like that. That changes the dynamics of the whole situation and gives you room to move.
nah only stupid people do that I'm gonna not tell anyone and celebrate in secret. and get a lawyer get my money without my name being shown (if possible) and invest it and just out of nowhere when I finally got stable income I'm gonna move out of my whole state and tell only family and my best friends. and their not entitled to any of my Money so sharing with them and the amount I share is up to me
Celebrate? I've never been big on celebrations even birthdays, never been flashy either, I would be a great candidate to win. A celebration would be in the form of a getaway vacation not with friends but close family months after... even then, they still will not know that I won because I am not buying cars, houses etc I will build my dream 4 bedroom home outside the country probably 1 year after and only 1 car after my current one is worn out. I'll probably reveal my win to my immediate family after 2 years. Good thing is I have a handful of friends and they are not going to know.
@@ladysafari01 I would personally just invest 80% it into different companies I planned to open and spend 20% on myself. But will move to new state maybe get a apartment and keep my new car's and family if I had one there and will just tell people I got a rich Investor that doesn't wants to be named😂 cause I'm sure as hell if they knew I won a lottery my friend's cousins and uncle/auntie that's I'm not even close to will come demanding a share of the money, but if I said I got a investment to open company and got rich no one gonna bother me👍
*Awwwwwww, that's so cute. So that means that despite being brutally miserable before I win the lottery, it means that it's just going to get worse after I win the lottery?*
*Place the ticket in a safety desposit box? No. I'll just put it in my pocket. Things generally don't fall out of my pocket unless I'm literally upside down.*
