Thank you! My 2004 Cummins 2500 was stuck in 3rd. I spent half a Saturday replacing the governor solenoid and pressure transducer and replacing the fluid with no improvement. I took your suggestion and tried swapping the relay and immediately I was back in business! I appreciate you.
I have same problem on my Volvo! Except it shakes the whole car once it's put in R... It happened suddenly. It has 450k km, but I'm not ready to let go that car. I will send it in for diagnostics and hopefully this can be fixed on a budget
$6,572.75 The core was lost in shipping. The core was insured so there is that. But the it still did not cover the loss completely. The core was believed to be a Muldoon's unit. Had it not been lost a refresh service would been $2000 plus $1000 shipping more or less. This trans is slipping from 2nd to 3rd when I give it hard throttle. So I will have to rebuild it again. Warranties are useless when you have to wait a year so I am not gonna bother again with that vendor. Not sure who I am gonna use for the UCC truck I am building. Probably Josh or Firepunk. Leaning on Josh based on what I seen. Not sure if he will work for me considering I am trash talking this trans. Too bad there isn't no body here in Florida that can build a 4000 hp unit.
