It’s not a question of akhlaqiat (morality). The point she is raising is that the prime minister has a job to do and he has failed at it. The second issue I see with your comment and many others is that in the Pakistani society there is complete lack of tolerance of women’s views and their right to speak on any subject. No one would have even reacted if a male guest had raised the same point. The fact is that the prime minister routinely makes comments that have nothing to do with his job.

@@omerkhar Meray bhai. His job is to provide sound governance which he has failed to do. That’s what we voted for and he has not delivered. That is the point Iffat has made and like most here you have failed to understand what she is saying. I understand that people admire PM Imran for his great achievements on the cricket field. I do as well, but we can’t give him a pass for failing as a political leader. I wish he had delivered on his promises.

Really? How does theology figure into the job of a prime minister? She is explaining that she is disappointed with the PTI and specifically the prime minister’s performance as a leader. Do you disagree with her on that point? And who is the prime minister to lecture anyone about religion? I see lots of comments questioning her mindset and morality but no one is willing to answer the basic question she has posed about the incompetence of the government. Hassan Khawar is being applauded for his disingenuous response in which he claims that whenever the prime minister says something offensive, he doesn’t actually mean it or he has been misunderstood.

Really? All economic indicators are trending down. Nothing to speak of in terms of the much touted accountability. Lectures on morality from the prime minister who has not been able to form any consensus on anything worthwhile. I am a disappointed supporter of PTI. Iffat’s description of the state of affairs is truer than Hassan Khawar’s.

Really? The prime minister is failing at his job. He would do better to focus more on the job at hand. And remember Allah is the judge of Akhlakiat (morality), not u, me or the prime minister. Ali Bhai your comment about u knowing about her moral character from her comments is highly inappropriate and against our prophet’s teachings. I’ll be honest that her points are valid and the disillusionment with PTI is real. The excuses Hassan Khawar gave were extremely weak and laughable.

I am not proud of Imran khan. I started supporting him from very first days of his entry into politics and was desperately waiting for him to become PM of Pakistan. But sorry he is not what I thought. He is a small hearted man, most importantly he is a liar and greedy and mean. It's called verbal correction, not imposing. Let her be without clothes. But she cannot say that it's her choice according to Islam. The Qura'an demands us to tell what is right and to stop what is wrong. This is the clear Order of Qura'an. The highest level of stopping is by hand, 2nd level is by word, 3rd level is "consider it bad from your heart".

My jism wants to be azaad from all the public groping/touching/squeezing that i encounter in pakistan. Mjmm is saying its my body my choice i will decide what i want to eat and nobody should shame me for my body size/weight. Mjmm is saying its my body my choice and i will get married when i want to(this is to protests against the countless minor girls who were married off to men twice their age and raped and then pregnant and then died because their body wasnt mature enough to handle that pregnancy) mjmm is saying its my body my choice and you should accept my personal choices that i make in my life and move on with their lives. There are still women who cant wear what they want, work where they want, go where they want, study a profession they want, cant join sports/music or any other profession as such whereas men can.
