The type J rods are incredible. Paul, I run a B605 with a Diawa LEXA-WN 300H real. This is my bait casting set up and goto for nearly everything. As an FNQ local I use it for Barra, Trout and Jack's. Fishing the toughest country, land based oyster and coral rock leadges. Nothing else feels close. Looks small, but has the guts. Try one as as lure chucker. You won't go back to anything else.
Yes, those particular fish are found in many places around the world so I'm sure they have a few different names - great fish to catch! Fight bloody hard!
