Just ordered a 745 GameKing with 8mm hull and 6mm keel strip powered by 300HP Mercury Verado, 16" Axiom Pro 1KW Transducer, ZipWake Trim Tabs, Sav Winch Plus a lot more. The build has just started and your vid made my decision to upgrade to a GFAB trailer a must. Black Hull and Anthracite Top.
surprised you didn't go with the enclosed wheelhouse...anyway these rigs are definitely at the pinnacle of plate alloy trailerable boats. especially with 400hp!
The Nomads, mate I can’t speak for the larger extremes but my 545CC is the best riding boat I’ve owned. It definitely inspires rough water confidence. I’d imagine the larger game kings would be even better.
I own a 795 2017 model done about 300 odd hours out the west coast and east coast of the north island New Zealand. Had a fair few problems with ours from broken welds on the trim tab brackets and stress dents in the side panels and transom deck. They ride ok but I think white pointers ride better. I find in swell intervals very close together the boat rides horrible very porpoising. It is very stable in rough water and I’ve only had it broach a couple times in very dangerous conditions. It’s a point and shoot type of boat but isn’t soft riding. I think that’s the compromise you get with the down turn chines. Stability over fine entry soft ride.
That trailer probably cost more than my second and fedfinn with 75 4 stroke. In fact it probably cost more than my boat and trailer. That's why it's so bloody nice. There is a gameking 745 for sale her e I'm Britain,I'm Scottish Highlands and I think it would look good up here, just got to convince the wife now.
Hummingbird. Hmmm. Lovely boat and I get it that you're sponsored by Hummingbird, but.... what a shame to have to put one of those in it and try and convince everyone that you have the ultimate boat!
Il ils a really a great and nice combo. I would love to own one, but can’t find it in France. Just close your eyes and think about the carbon impact :-) it is a lot producing and using it, unfortunately it is not sustainable and won’t help us to reduce our environmental impact.
At 7:39 and 7:36 (min) into the video a 125lb (pound) dolphin surfaces not more than 15 feet from the boat and yet the "Hummingbird" "fish finder" registers NOTHING! Sooooooo maybe not the "bees knees" in fishing gear. like the boat thou.
