spent seven days there in august 2016 saw schools of 20 - 30kg kings everyday down near the new plant ..seven days and hooked one monster that pulled the hooks after a vicious surface strike.....only saw 3 fish get caught with at least 15 boats working it everyday....really tough fish to catch I've never seen kings in schools ignore live squid or salmon like that...threw everything I had and not a not sniff from schools of 20+ fish even had em under the boat swimming around live squid!.......blokes from the plant back behind the bouys were getting em everyday off the wall was painful to watch em pose for photos while getting nothing!...some big fish there but its not easy.
I down rigged with an electric motor for seven days without a touch was painful at times with all the weed....those kings are tough in fight and tough in bite I plan to go back one day to slay one.
