What in case of astigmatism in ophthalmoscopy

In direct ophthalmoscopy, magnification is more in myopes as compared to emmetropes and hypermetrops. However field of view is said to be directly proportional to the axial length of the observed eye. Does this mean that magnification and field of view are both more in a myopic patient?
