With rain, clouds and working on his IPC, it made for a great trip for my dad to fly myself, my mom, wife and kid to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from New Bern, NC for a family day out!

Thanks for the video! Awesome shots. I love to fly through those bright white billowy cloud decks. They are always different, give you a sensation of speed, some are a bit bumpy and offer a beautiful God painted canvas only us pilots and lucky passengers get to view!

Having obtained my PPL utilizing both the C-150 and C-172, and just about every flight hour after having also been in both aircraft mentioned, I have a sense of comfort, admiration, love and respect for Cessna high-wings. Really enjoyed this video to the fullest. It's very pleasing to hear the audio of aviation, not mucked up with music. Camera angles/shots very awesome as well. Thank you for sharing and Happy/Safe Flying!👍🇺🇸

Thanks for watching it! Cessna's are great aircraft and have owned a few and flown them most of my aviation life I am biased to them for sure!

Thanks! That was the first time I think I was able to get that to work out where it would not shake a lot.

You just made a fan for life. I live in Myrtle Beach and thought, this scenery looks too familiar. When I saw the bridge (Harrelson Blvd), the homes on the Coastal Waterway and finally RWAY 18, I knew this was KMYR (I watched it w/out reading the description, LOL). I got chills. Would love to meet you guys in person. Great flight. Still working on my PPL. This vid has inspired me more. Thanks again for sharing.

Yanni, Thank you! great to always hear that the videos help inspire people to keep flying and finishing up the dream! I fly in and out of there, every now and again with my charter company as well as the 210. Happy to meet you if I'm in town one day.

I noticed that there was another video with this plane for sale did you buy or are you selling... it beautiful plane
@squishmeplzz

We had it up for sale for a while, to purchase another aircraft, but the deal fell through and we then decided that we would keep due to the market not having anything to offer that we felt was better than ours.

Instrument Flight? This looked liked scud running. Why didn't you ask for altitude above the cloud deck. Also, it almost looked like you were going land on the nose wheel first. Why didn't you flare the plane.
@squishmeplzz
@squishmeplzz 5 лет назад
L G No scud running. Was an IFR training flight. We filed for 6,000ft so the pilot cold get more experience. As for the Flare. All pilots flare. Have you ever flown a 210? If you have experience with one you understand the attitude of flaring in a 210 is not the same as say a piper or 172. Was a great training flight and landing was very good giving it a 210 and that the pilot had less than 50hrs on the aircraft.

Why do you get the gears down SOOOOOO early? It's not necessary.
@squishmeplzz
@squishmeplzz 4 года назад
Solcar Zemog I see you didn’t read that we were doing an IPC as well as an ILS approach. Explain your reasoning for it being down to earlier?
@solcarzemog5232
@solcarzemog5232 4 года назад
@@squishmeplzz Aerodynamic reasons. Now, if there are bureocratic/requisitional reasons, I rest my case. I'm a pilot's son and spent my life flying private planes with dad. Gears went down on down wind.
@squishmeplzz
@squishmeplzz 4 года назад
Solcar Zemog flying an ILS and flying Visual approaches are very different. ILS you want to be configured for landing (gear down flaps 20) by the FAF so that you’re not making configuration changes between the FAF and DA/MAP.

Sorry, didn't like it. intrusive music and sped-up action ruins it. Capt Moonbeam II ?

Sorry to hear that. Would you sit and watch the whole video if it was 1hr and 46 mins long? I'm sure you would not. I also do not want to spend the number of hours it would take to edit a video that long.

I have to say it was a little boring, the music, the very long approach with the gear down for so long, and no talking. I’m a 210 driver, always file IFR. Love 210’s they are really neat airplanes.

I’ve owned a 172, 182 RG, and three T210’s. The 210 is without a doubt one of the greatest high performance singles ever made. Have about 1,500 hours in them. Then you take a flight in a TBM and a whole new world presents itself. Love to fly. 👍⛈🛩
