Hello, I have been binging slowly your videos. It is all so interesting and you make it look easy. I’m suspecting that since you have the 440 system, so you don’t bother with Foreflight? Also, thank for instilling in us the need to regularly check ourselves to avert over dependency on automated systems. Thanks for your content!
Of my 38 total years of flying I love flying through the clouds most of all !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never get tired of it. Just subscribed to you. Keep the video's coming !!!!!! Airbus A320 / Bell 430 UT Driver
+James Waldron thanks! I am trying to find ways to increase production value. I have ordered new mounts (including exterior) and additional cameras too.
Once again Nice Ride Baron Pilot... I too reflect and self access every trip! i like to do a final GUMPPS Check on Final Approach (Gas On Mains, Under-Carriage Down and Locked, Mixture Full Rich, Boost Pumps On and Props All the way Up/Prop Sync-off) just me, but as taught and gleaned from My Dad a 30K Comm Pilot w/13 majors-No Accidents, Incidents or Violations..An aviation god in my humble opinion ';-) "No Disrespect intended, and just an observation Sir ..." PS: Nice Touch...
No offense taken. At 500' I do "Three Green, Clear to Land". I don't have Aux Tanks so gas is always on main. In the Baron, Boost pump is only on for takeoff >90 degrees F. So no boost pump for landing and I don't have Prop Sync. Mixture has been richened during decent and would be ample for go around. There are two different schools of thought about mixture full rich for landing.
thanks for posting your videos I look forward to watching the videos between now and the future and I have already watched all the past. Please done stop Thanks

Yea' Right - What I meant was = IT is Too Slow in A 172 at Altitude & becomes boring When 'we' Can Not Hear All of The Conversation of Yours because of ATC &/or Growling's' with Comm's' - Also I did NOT Mean IT' as A Derogatory' &/or Negative' Critical' Statement' - Keep ON Flying & Recording with Commentary with TIP'S' & Useful Information' for 'us' Who ARE Always in 'Learning' & Improving' MODE' for ALL' Flyers' - Thanks' Again' >> Shalom >
So my instructor(s) are telling me to lose the "with you" terminology, and instead give status like "level at", or "climbing through". I guess the idea is that it is better to always give useful status instead of noise words like "with you", with the idea that controllers know that you are "with them" when you call.
They aren't wrong but it's really not a hard fast rule. If you listen to the radio, even the big boys will say with you from time to time. With that being said, if you watch my newer videos I have done away with the "with you" for the most part.
flying rnwy 31 w/ 20kts from 50??? that's a 100 degree quartering tailwind....really that's a reasonable approach to demo??? and w/ all the ability to show good safe tech, could you put it near the centerline???? hmmm was a reasonable video til the end...
