I was on the boardwalk in Atlantic City that week , a friend texted me pictures of my area, Ossining, couldn’t even see across the river and had that orange brown tint. It looked like when I wear my polarized brown tint sunglasses.
That was definitely scary! I hope nothing like that happens anywhere again. It amazes me how many people were walking and sitting around oblivious to all that and acting like it was a beautiful summer day.
I grew up in an industrial town surrounded by metallurgical and chemical factories and, unfortunately, got used to the orange sky. It's terrible. Hope, the smoke dissolves soon. Take care, Dutch
