The 3 Contenders represented Countries whose contender were knocked out in the heats and therefore did not have a contender in the Semi Final of International Gladiators. After 3 Events (Atlaspheres, Pyramid and Gauntlet) the lowest scoring contender was knocked out leaving the other 2 to compete in the next 2 events and the Eliminator!
Pyramid claimed a number of victims during the second International Gladiators. Besides Rhino seen here (though he would eventually return to action the following series), we also had a German contender injured in Heat 2, and a Russian contender in the second semi-final. Ironically, there were no game-breaking injuries in the previous International Gladiators.
