Hi your videos help a lot perhaps leading me here to ask this question I have so i was trying to do a few past papers and at the end i checked the grade threshold table what i want to know is how they grade our paper for example p2 is 30% p4 is 50% and p6 is 20% but on the threshold table they mention that it is graded out of 200 although their marks add upto 160 Thanks in advance
I am unsure of the specifics of how they total up all the marks but there is definitely something called scaling in these exams. For example, an A* grade is 90%+. Imagine taking a P2 MCQ exam and getting 32/40 which is 80%. This is your RAW mark which should be an A grade. However, depending on how well you performed compared to others that took the exam, they may scale your mark higher. That's why a lot of the time an A* mark can be achieved without actually getting 90% correct due to the effects of scaling. Quite often it's more like a raw grade of 80%+ which gets you an A* grade.
They multiple whatever you got from multiple choice by 1.25, then they multiple every theory mark by 1.5 and lastly leave whatever you got from practical as it is. Then it adds up to 200
Thank you for the revision guide and keep going 💪💪 Could you please post these notes in your website that you represent it in the video??? Thank you again and Good Luck 🖒

Due to the fact that I’ve covered most topics already for biology here on youtube, my focus is on chemistry for my website. I’m actually nearly done with chem so I’ll move on to physics and then eventually write notes for bio too :)
@dunno what You will find his notes on his website free exam academy (here is the link www.freeexamacademy.com/260-2/ ) and there are also biology syllabus answers that you will find online and the revision guide ,they're also really helpful !
