The answer for second example's y value is wrong it's 149 upon 27 and not 147 upon 29

could anyone explain how you know one coordinate is minimum and the other is maximum?

You need to start of by finding the second derivative, in this equation u put both your x values and solve it. if the value you derive is negative its maximum and if its positive then its minimum. hope this helps :)
