I bought a set of front & rear "synthetic leather" seat covers from www.iggee.com for my $350 1988 Acura Legend Sedan.
I'll show how to install them yourself with no special tools and give an honest review, showing the good, bad, and the ugly.

These seat covers are legit, look like real leather and fit unbelievably better than any other brand out there for sure, yes they take time to form to shape make sure you order the exact trim model for your car

It's a shame that after the seat covers are in place, that there isn't a material that has a heat activated shrink wrap reaction, so any decent hair dryer you could heat the cover and have it fit snuggly in all areas. Of course that's easy for me to say, I'm a genuis, a genus, a genious, geenus, a smart guy.

Thanks! I checked it out, but the '89 frame is different than the '85, due to the xtra cab of the 89 being about 6" longer to make room for the rear seats. Bummer because he's not too far from Ohio!

I just got this brand for my S550 Mustang to change over from the ugly black cloth to black with beige centers leather look. Had to request to keep the headrests all black without a beige front which they did for no extra cost to me, they said it's usually $20 for a headrest change. I don't have the bottoms on yet because I'm hoping to be able to get it done with the seats in. So far they fit great compared to my equal-priced neoprene ones that looked uglier than the cloth, but were functional enough for me since I work a dirty job where even when I change I still manage to get bright white powder on my seats occasionally. The 'leather' will also be tonnns easier to clean when I do get small sections powdery. So far, I wish I knew these existed before I forked out $180 for neoprene fronts. Iggee charged me exactly the same for front covers

definitely doesn't look like leather seats, but being realistic if the car was around 350 bucks its insane spending 2k just to have the seats repaired.

Yeah if the rest of the car was mint I would have had them professionally done, but this car is in driver condition with some flaws. Someday when I have the $, I may have them redone.

Hi mate it is me from Australia again. At least the seat are an improvement over what you started with. Covers never are great. Hey I sold that restored YN65 for a record price. Problem is I am trying to find a period correct radio cassette player for it to finish it off. Do you have any at all? If so would you sell it to me? Thanks in advance Adam

You paid just as much for those horrible seat covers as you did for the vehicle. No matter what I would have felt ripped off. But then again I know how to sew, so I usually just handle my own.

@@6thGearGarage lol!! Yeah you could always go German if you’re going import. They’ve been rockin’ better build quality for decades. Everyone always yaps about Honda quality but the bottom line is most of their models are nothing but grocery getters so why wouldn’t they last? If you take care of any vehicle well they’ll stay with you for eons, not just a recycled and renamed Pepsi can

@@ryandubyah2345 I had a BMW E38 and Mercedes W126 and agree they were both built like tanks! Unfortunately it was the electronics and way some parts were engineered that made them unreliable. Until I have unlimited funds to throw at a German mechanic, I'm going to stick with Japanese vehicles for the combination of build quality & reliability.

@ryandubyah2345 you clearly don't know what your talking about...haha...smh...ask any German owner they are always super finicky and require specialized techs to repair....Honda engineering is light-years ahead of any German vehicle in terms of reliability....I've owned 2000s German and my 93 legend is way better....parts are way cheaper too

I was trying to decide between the IGGEE or the Katskins seat covers and after seeing how bad the IGGEE looks I went with the Katskins and they fit and look amazing

Katskins are the next step up from the Iggee in quality, fitment and price. I'd definitely go Katskins on a nicer vehicle.
