Iggy Pop at Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles, CA, USA Tour: Every Loser April 27, 2023 Note: Performed with The Losers (Duff McKagan, Chad Smith, Andrew Watt, and Jamie Hince)
The guitarist some are criticizing here is Andrew Watt, he produced this album and is at least partially responsible for the great lineup of musicians on the album and excellent production of all the tunes. Love to the great Iggy Pop
Iggy is a bad ass. I can't say that I'm a fan from way back, but now that he and I are much older I'm really starting to dig his originality and his resiliency especially at his advanced age. He and Lee Ving are the real thing and both of them are still more representative of Punk Rock/Hardcore than anyone younger than them in the music business.
I was fortunate enough to make it to the Chicago show in March and although we didn't get the same legendary backing band, I'm more than happy with who Iggy brought with him that night. They played very well, let Iggy own the stage entirely and the brass section added some very interesting elements to the classics and even the new tracks. That being said...wow, I never thought I'd see Slash, Duff and Chad as a backing band for Mr. Pop. Incredible.
I hope your toilet backs up!! Shitty water everywhere!! Lol sorry just being a d**K Slash is my favorate guitarist. *enter slew of insults against Slash*
Slash played guitar on the "Brick By Brick " album. Iggy's lyrics and Slash's guitar made a great combination in the early 90's. A totally solid album.
He should be everyone's role model at 76 and can still perform like this. What a legend he is, even if you don't like punk rock you just can't take away his energy and still vocally amazing.
This was the third of three shows across 3 different L.A. theatres Iggy played with this all-star line-up (sans Slash) over 8 days in April 2023. For this show, once again, I was standing three spots back and just center stage to the left. Originally, I did not have tix for this show but after the first two shows how could I let this final show go by? On the morning of I purchased one ticket (purchased on the Ticketmaster rip-off reseller Live Nation) and off to Hollywood I went. Side note: before Iggy played, Punkie Johnson gave a "comedy" performance that was really nothing more than her walking around on stage showing her big ol' babies breathing freely (Iggy seems to have the effect of getting everyone to take their shirt off!) As for Iggy, once again he gave another fine performance, BUT he did express some disappointment that (unlike the other shows) no fans made it to the stage due to the strong fence barrier and rather tight security. Chad was banging those drums all night; he doesn't quit! For the encore, a nice surprise was Slash. The mosh pit was strong from the get go but no real harm done to anyone. Look how happy Iggy is towards the end of this masterpiece (7:15). Iggy is 76, I don't know how much longer he can go on but I do hope at least one more tour. I miss him already.
Yep iggy is and always will be one of the best live performer's around. He puts so much effort into his singing and a huge stage presence. I too wonder how long at 76 he can carry on, but still at 76 you just wouldn't think he's that age going by this performance. What a true legend
I have been a fan for years..I will never forget a friend of mine..male..jumping up when they played an Iggy pop tune at our company xmas party..grabbed me by the hand and jumped up..he moved just like Iggy..it was awesome to watch..just not awesome to stand there
I tried to expose my son to a wide variety of music. The passenger and a few sea chanties are all that he confessed to liking. Props or what ever to ylegruns' music
Iggy will be doing this when he's 100 if he can. Love it, hope I can see him live. I love that he doesn't give a flying __ck if he has an old body or not.......but it's Iggy, so of course.
Slash should be a preserved and maintain National Treasure!! Such a master of guitar and I have always thought he was the best axe man and I grew up with this Incredable badass and hardcore fella!!
I was at this show! Slash just kinda appeared during the encore in the back at first. Had to do a double take. He made his way forward to solo. No intro til Iggy eventually said “Hey that looks like Slash!” 😂 Lol. AWESOME show and Slash was just a bonus.
Hell Ya, I saw the Stooges At The Eastown Theater when i was 16 years old, Slash & Duff kick ass here, Chad Smith on Drums, The Great One, Is that Wayne KRAMER IN THE COLORFUL OUTFIT PLAYING gUITAR? This song here will always be played Daily here, Cousin Figel
Haha great clip but whos the guitar player in the pyjamas jumping around in front of iggy slash and duff there is legends on stage take a back seat..:D
Whoever shot this video obviously doesn't know who Iggy Pop is. Look, Slash is great and that guy who played bass for Guns and Roses is very recognizable. Iggy Pop is the god father of hard and punk rock. There will never be another like him. PUT THE CAMERA ON HIM!
Or yes sir iggy pop and the other musicians doing a good show the truth is that I am going to miss this iggy pop man we will always remember you old man you are great seriously a true living legend 😎🤟
