Hi Rupesh. Thanks for your input. We've already converted Activas using the stock CVT years ago. Works fine. You can use a motor as small as 1.5 kw to take you to 60kmph speeds with decent amount of load bearing capacity, reduced consumption, and acceleration as quick as a stock scooty pep
Congratulations and exceptional as usual hemanth. A few desires - the tell tale digital display unit should have a horizontal battery 🔋 indicator as opposed to vertical. So many things are being displayed which will definitely overwhelm a non technical person so what about adding a push button toggle switch to reveal information which are not readily relevant and keep the display clean. What about the factory fuel meter in the front console to calibrate to the average charge left in battery apart from the tacho meter. And what about a 400+ kms kit for brezza with fast charging port. And if a support desk is available for sorting out RTO paperwork and such hassles - it would be the ultimate icing on the cake. RTO part seems a big hurdle.
Each time a video is out..the wow factor just gets buildin up with ur cars, it's range, efficiency, etc..a little long video but it's ok..one suggestion for the future..I'm not repeating cruise control as someone had mentioned it in another comment..(thought cruise control was already there as it is in Dzire) why not a virtual assistant.. 😉 which integrates with few functions of the car..I know it's way off the horizon and there would be R&D costs and then the actual offering to the customer..I was getting remind of Jarvis when you were mentioning the battery stats, kms driven etc and thought why not..can be a feature in ur high end cars like Polo and above..keep rocking as always..may be the next trip should be Pune to Goa ? 😀

Sir you were going just fabulous and it's sure that northway motorsport will conquer immense success But my question is that if I have 1 year old car like swift desire 2021 so I can purchase your ev kit it will fit perfectly but I think no one will change there 1 year old engine with ev kit and just store it and keep it as a waste and only engine no one gonna buy it toh it's real price even half of price .... Hi Hemank, I have few critical queries regarding keeping the motor in its sweet spot by driving in higher gear when we don't need high Torque. 1. Your expertise in EV and the knowledge of how the battery and motor operates in praiseworthy. Do you have patents in this idea of using a manual gear to improve efficiency of motor? 2. Why doesn't the other main stream EV companies in India use your idea of using a gear? I agree that a manual gear helps to be engaged with the car. An automatic gear system is not enjoyable.
You guys can add a battery and motor in a car with a petrol engine and automatic transmission? Like a PHEV? I feel adding a motor, battery and charger in a Honda city automatic Is more sensible than adding a CNG Tank and its kit.
You can use it like a 2 speed instead of a 5 speed. That reduces the number of gear changes making it effectively like automatic. In city you can drive in 3rd or 4th gear constantly if you don't feel like changing gears.
The idea was to show only the amps consumed. The same display is being used to show AUX batt voltage instead of main pack voltage for our internal purpose. Due to this the KW calculations is bound to go for a toss on the display. We are only showing and consider the current drawn and the Ah utilised. That’s at actual. Multiply it with 148VDC for KW calculation.

Because, development of a kit, from scratch includes Vehicle Scanning, 3d Modelling, Custom Kit development, Custom Manufacturing, Prototyping, Testing, Validation, Certificaion, SOP Setting, and many more small small things, which eventually turns out to be a 1 year long project with over 1 cr of expense. This investment can only be justified against high volume of sale. Now why would people buy a Nexon Petrol converted to EV from us, that does not have warranty as well, when he can easily but a Nexon EV off the shelf? How can we break even our investment without projected sales volume? This is the reason we are choosing only cars that exist in a high volume and do not have a direct EV competition in its own or similar model. Hope its a little clear. On the other hand, if you are willing to fund a project like this, we are happy to execute it. Regards Hemank

What about direct drive motor compared to the transmission that you use with gears. Surely there must energy loss there in gears.. how did you cope that energy loss.. would love to know..
99% of direct drives are equipped with a single speed transmission which still is a gearbox with mechanical losses. Anyways a multi speed transmission may have higher mechanical losses but when compared as a complete scenario, on vehicle level, a multi speed transmission equipped EV seems to be more efficient despite the small mechanical losses in our opinion
