One of my good friends is aboriginal… and he along with his family thought the YES campaign was one of the biggest, most condescending insults ever bought forward in this nations modern history
He wanted a Legacy so badly...well he got one! He will forever be associated with this Massive Loss alone now until he dies. Wimpy little soy boy should resign!
Apparently The further away from leafy inner city Labor parties rooms and Uni Bars you go, the more likely you are to find racists. The N.T is full of those Indigenous Australian racist NO voters
You all are so dumb if it was yes result than we the first nation people of this country would have lost our sovereignty, yes thank you all for voting no,you all have made us more determined to come together.
Thankyou and seems you guys have woken up as well based on the election result. Go woke, go broke. Stunning result in NZ. Kudos to our ANZAC brothers and sisters.
Yes, and like in the UK the elites will carry on and pretend as if the vote never happened. Eight years on in the UK, the slippery process of undoing Brexit is still going on. Let this be a warning - Australians look out!
I know. How is it racist to not want special privilege based on race. There is racism here, but this vote says most Australians don't want a part in it.
I'm from Canada. I'm telling you all - *if this ever passes you will regret it.* You will *NEVER* appease those who demand special laws, land, and money. This path only leads to further division - *the demands will NEVER end.* In my country, Indigenous people have the *legal right* to evict and remove non-Indigenous people from "their land." If an Indigenous person marries a non-Indigenous person, or even marries an Indigenous person from a *different* band, they can be forcibly removed from their homes and it's *LEGAL.* Imagine if a Black, Asian, or Indigenous person was removed from their home in a white community - it'd garner outrage and make international news, yet Indigenous groups can do it and it happens in Canada far too often. We even had one of our Indigenous Olympic medalists kicked out of her home and off the tribal land she grew up on because she had the audacity to marry a white man. I'm telling you. It won't end. You're either one people working toward a common goal or you end up carving your nation into tiny bits that everyone squabbles over and demands more money and more land to be "equal" to some other group. Learn from us. Don't let them divide you.
Thanks for that mate. The greatest example of what NOT to do was to follow Canadian totalitarianism under commie Frewdo. We are in empathy with you lot that have been ideologically high-jacked by the UN and WEF ideologies that Frewdo has forced upon our cousins in Canada. Our lunatic polies bought into this global elite insanity, but NOT this time - we are now alert to their corrupt and evil agenda. God bless you and all Kanucks.
honestly, most canadians don't even think about this shit, or care. so yah... but if you want to stay angry or butthurt over things like that, be my guest. there are way more important issues to sort out in canada right now imo. let's be honest - most canadians forget that our indigenous peoples even exist in the first place. funny how you should give a shit now.
These indigenous activists are absolute parasites, losers that would not be capable of working at mcdonalds yet our dumb ass government chooses to give the pieces of garbage 3-400,000 dollar a year jobs to incite hate. It gets me fired up I tell you
Proud of you Aussies. This is divisive. New Zealand Labour Govt left things messy making other citizens who aren't Maori feel like second class citizens. Applaud you for speaking loud in unity ❤
I heard one of the talking heads say it was the no campaign spending false rumours the made the referendum go down, that would’ve been easily fixed with some true facts……….still waiting!
They are a bunch of sore losers and they continue threatening us that they will be dragging this dead horse down the street, even after such a resounding defeat!
Lessons to be learnt 1. Let nothing divide Australia 2. Let's audit what happens to the $40 billion a year where is it going 3. Let's stop educating kids with a toxic interpretation of our history 4. Australia is not racist and that's why we voted against the Yes proposed solution which would have created Apartheid in Australia 5. Accept the democratic mandate. No means no don't second guess the will of the Australian people.
Welcome to how it feels to win a referendum and the other side will make out you didn’t really win because you’re too bad, stupid and racist to know what you were voting for.
Not to mention all the NGO's, (or rather their, 'employees'), who would have profited from it financially, if this had gone through. Billions of tax-payer money spent on organisations set up to benefit minorities, but instead keeping mostly ideologically-entrenched, non-productive, 'experts', in comfortable positions, spending their entire time thinking up newer and more extreme ways of trying to divide society along racial lines. And the public pays for it all.
I'm crying, Rita. With laughter and joy for Australia. Love from the USA. *"We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution."*--Abraham Lincoln
Sad to see aus follow the us political regression. Roe vs wad emboldened the right wing over there and it will do the same here with this vote. Times of hardship and the fucking fascists and racist rise to take advantage, rinse and repeat humanity ad infinitum. Your senat is stacked with evangelica wackos, that's an absolute disgrace to democracy. Your democratic rating was downgraded years ago and is falling behind developing nations. Pretty sad to be proud of a democratic system in declline. Ignorance is bliss.
And there is no doubt whatsoever that, overall, no voters are a vastly more civilised, pleasant, and mature group of people than the yes camp. A significant percentage of yes voters think being rude to no volunteers is a show of their virtue. The only thing it demonstrated was their rudeness, and bigotry.
@asterix45 my fam migrated to Australia with zero in the bank but they worked their ass off . Maybe you should ask whether the aboriginal people if they are willing to put in the same work
@@PwerRanger01 As recent events have shown, the UN, along with its friends and relations, passed sell-by quite a long time ago. When all else fails, leftists trot out the phony race card. I've gotten to the point that when I hear some leftist blathering about racism, I tell them to take their phony race card and shove it up their fukking ass. It has led to a couple of interesting moments.
@@infidel202 Communists aren’t racist. Also it wasn’t just a conservative win. I’m left leaning and like the idea of communism. I’m not racist. I voted no. It’s not that simple.
As a Citizen i want to thank you to Rita its the first time in a long time that the people have had some media on our side . Thats the way it should be. You deserve a good pat on the back for your good truthful journalism. Much love and respect to you.
What beats me is why people put any credence in what they say anyway. Most of them are as dumb af and make a living off things like throwing/kicking/hitting a ball or being "famous" cos they are/were on TV. Ricky Gervais was right on the money at that award ceremony imo.......................
They are NOT out of touch. They are part of a greater globalist agenda, a very different agenda to the Australian people. If you think they are just 'out of touch', then you don't get it.
I am so proud of my fellow Australians who voted no to the biggest con ever proposed to the Australian public. The activists farsightedness saw that the gravy train was about to be derailed and the voice was the fix to get it back on track. Looking forward to the accountability stage and the positives to follow.
I see loads of people making comfortable incomes from “helping” the Aborigines. (The gravy train again). Amongst this group of “race-problem solvers” who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public. It is known that far more than the average minimum wage is spent on each and every Aboriginal man, woman and child, and what do they have to show for it, very little that’s what. This “help” is done in an attempt to show us how noble and selfless the “helpers” think they are. Well I call BS on that, and wonder about the Aboriginals that have fallen by the wayside to satisfy a need to feel good. One good thing about the voice debate is that it is shining a spotlight on the failures and rorts in the current system.
It's time there was some accountability - particularly where important issues like cost of living and cost of electricity (and its availability) have been ignored.
@@smedleyfarnsworth263 I used to work for a youth service in Ipswich in late 90s... I was a "youth volunteer" (close the age and wealth gap, they OPENED UP and befriended me...that was my job.. the PAID workers were all 30+ and dress nicely.. I was the one the kids could relate to.). but the WORKERS there...yes, they did well for them self, got all sorts of awards and bonuses. When I finally came back and said "Its peer pressure, NOT disadvantage, this person, that person ...they all have more $$ and better, more understanding, than I ever had, its a CHOICE because of PEER PRESSURE" I was told to keep that to myself and just keep playing along...or leave. Yes, I believe most of these organisations are just there to suck up $$ and make people LOOK good, when they don't really want to face the HEART of the problem.
Yes..the real Aboriginals, the ones still living out bush, in touch with their lands, they all vote No, so that says a lot.... they also Voted for lots of dry areas and communities (knowing that alcohol brings violence and problems) they also want more police presence to keep control of issues. There's tons of money going to Aboriginal Elders and 'community projects' but there doesn't seem to be any accountability, or improvements. When these fundings are given to other areas, you have to constantly show outcomes and improvements to community and even then, you often get the funding cut off!! We need more accountability that is for certain.... all this money, we should see outback medical centres, education centres, shopping centres, community supports, drug and alcohol rehab centres...where does the money go??????????
There is nothing stopping the leftist elite and their woke rabid YES mob from sharing their home, selling their properties and going to the Outback to provide practical help to impoverished and crime ridden Aboriginal communities …. BUT THEY WONT because it actually involves doing something instead of just posting online, and getting recognition and praise from the celebrities and corporations !!! 😅 Hahaha Aussies see through ya virtue signalling lefty w@nkers!
As a tax-payer I NOW want the Govt to thoroughly audit where all that 33 BILLION DOLLARS per year has gone - and also to put ALL the Aboriginal Corporations - without exception!! - on a responsible accountable footing for their annual expenditures from now on!!
I gotta say, this referendum result is probably the biggest win for this country since Tony Abbots victory in 2013. My hope for this country has restored as common sense is well and truly still alive.
The best boost for the NO vote was Western Australia passing that legislation giving indigenous people power to invoke monetary penalties on the farmers for digging a hole on freehold properties. It showed Australia what to expect had the YES vote succeeded.
@@user-hi2ss9ky9f Ah yes, but you did realise we only have a voice if we agree with them. If we disagree they want to shut our voices down with misinformation etc laws. YET, all said and done, the ones peddling misinformation, lies and blatant lies were indeed the virtuous YES voters.

@@indiathylane2158 Let me ask you a few questions and we will see your responses. Why in a referendum where citizens were asked to place a YES or NO in a box was anything else in that box counted as a YES vote? Why in a referendum where voters were asked to write YES or NO in a box was a tick accepted as a YES vote? Why in a referendum where voters were asked to write YES or NO in a box was a cross NOT accepted as a NO vote? Why did the Electoral Commission in the last week of a Referendum campaign announce publicly that is was possible for voters to record a vote at multiple polling booths that would be counted as a valid vote? Why did the Electoral Commission in the last week of a Referendum campaign announce publicly that is was possible for voters to record a vote at multiple polling booths yet failed, as required by law, to inform people that any such multiple votes cast would result in the person casting such votes being prosecuted for doing so? Why were the YES campaign able to illegally use colours the AEC was using at polling booths? Why were the YES campaign not required by the AEC to change the colours they used at Polling booths when it was clear the YES campaign were in breach of electoral laws and had time to change their colours? Do you not see how an impartial observer could get an impression the AEC were an arm of the YES campaign and totally biased toward it given that the YES campaign clearly breached Electoral laws yet the AEC took ZERO action against the YES campaign yet on the other hand clearly breached fairness when the Commissioner ruled a Cross(a UNIVERSAL sign accepted as meaning NO) would NOT be counted as a NO vote being cast whilst a tick(which is NOT universally seen as meaning YES) was deemed by that same Commissioner as signifying a CLEAR YES vote? Do you agree/disagree the Commissioner demonstrated clear bias towards the YES campaign and clear bias against the NO campaign with this ruling?
Don't you like the smoke serpents and casting away evil spirits?? Of Aboriginals can have smoke ceremonies then other Australians could have exorcisms casting away bad spirits.
Langton promised no more welcome to country ceremony if the voice went down, however whilst the local councils and sporting institutions continue to pay these parasites to conduct this garbage they will continue to do it. I get up and walk away when I'm at the footy,Aboriginals won't stand for the anthem even after campaigning changing it to "one and free" There will never be reconciliation in this country the race baiter activists will never let it happen
They obviously didn’t believe the Yes campaign claiming 80 % support for the Voice … … from a pro-Voice organisation“poll” that also claimed indigenous were 15 % undecided and only 5 % supported the Voice. …😮
They have been victimised by the aboriginal industry and the elites like Pearson for years the coffee shop elites don't care what happens to them as long as they can use their appalling situation to skim more money from the taxpayer, now is the time to address the issues facing remote communities and hundreds of towns around Australia like Alice Springs and Townsville, Leonora and Tennant Creek from crime to health, education and housing, the albanese government has wasted enormous amounts of money on the voice almost 400 million on advertising, bowen gave 3 billion to the wef, wong gave 30 million to hamas and how much has labors green energy cost Australia not just in money but environmental damage, imagine if this waste was directly injected into the aboriginal communities, there would be no problem, dismantle the aboriginal industry and directly inject the money into the issues
I want know where the 40 billion dollars a year goes, and so does a large percentage of Australians, when will we get a plausible answer? We deserve an answer.
Well, in their eyes, that's right! Did you hear the reports of them accusing their fellow-aboriginals who 'dared' to take a 'No' vote paper in their hands, 'racists'!? It's so PATHETIC, it's nauseating. Like kids fighting in a sandpit.
I just want to add a special thanks to Ray Martin and Marcia Langton! I cant even imagine how many hard, entrenched NO voters those two 'tactical geniuses' created together. The NO campaign couldn't possibly have had two more loyal and more effective allies.

Yeah it pisses me off when so called celebrities and sportsmen stick their nose into politics , and even more so, when it's someone who's not even Australian, like Shag and Jason momoa, ,
Question: Can indigenous people Vote, can they live where they want to, can they go to school, can they go to any hospital they want to, can they be elected to parliament, are they allowed to enter any business premises, shopping mall, train station, airport, are they entitled to passports, are they allowed to get driving license, can they go to uni and can they work where ever they choose. If the answer to the above is Yes, then why do they need special treatment?
Because they have 60,000 years of culture and even though everyone is equal in Australia there's actually a racial hierarchy meaning Indigenous folk are top dog and should get given everything they ask for.
They have the EXACT SAME rights and freedoms of every other Australian under our PRESENT CONSTITUTION. There never WAS any 'need' to change or add to it - it's ALL THERE!
Three times today I have been called a racist because of the way I voted. We had a referendum in Australia, not some communist dictatorship. We knew there would be no winners with this and we knew we would be painted as something we are definitely not.
I'm more worried about the Treaty that Albo will sign (if he's still around) in March 2024 that will give away our sovereign rights to the WHO in any declared "health" emergency. Once it's signed it is binding beneath international law. There'll be no going back. Does any one really want the same muppets who stuffed up the pandemic big time to hold sovereignty over both them and our nation? Time to make a big noise about this, because there is no referendum nor do we-the-people have a say in this matter. It's all up to an enthusiastic Albo who is just aching to sign away our sovereign Rights!
And even after the vote the prime minister stood up in front of three flags on live national television. He still didn’t get it. We are all Australian people there is no us and them.
He never DID 'get it'! He thinks because his tiny, tunnel-visioned mind conceived an idea that it is impossible for it to fail - but thank God, FAIL IT DID! Australia will never fully understand how imperative it was to block this attempt to alter our Constitution, unless they do the research - and believe me, it doesn't take much effort to expose the TRUTH about it at all.
It's a bit silly to expect sympathy from the people you've been abusing and bullying for the last 6 months. And now calling us racists isn't going to do anything to improve relations. You had it coming!
We don’t need B grade celebrity has-beens to tell us how to vote…what we need now is an audit on the Aboriginal Industry, and why the money is obviously not getting to where it’s needed…I want ti know,Canberra, where has all our bloody money gone???
Don't want to be a wet blanket, but the yes voters are not accepting the *NO.* That means, they are busy looking for ways to try again through a different door, in a few years. But for now. *All Australians should be proud of the result.*

Why is it the Yes side is talking about the " next" way to get it through ???? The answer was NO not " can you go away and think up another stupid thing" no is no so stop asking you got your answer ! If the answer ended up yes the no side would not be allowed to say " oh we will come back with another way" ! It would have been yes and that's the end of it !!! But it was no , do you people have ears painted on , go away don't come back in six months with another stupid idea , we the people have spoken , listen I got a fly shit of German in me can I get a voice ????

We in England suffered the same evil backlash from losers in the EU Brexit vote. BBC enraged that we did not obey their orders. Yeh, we were called racists, stupid, didnt know what we voted for.
What is wrong with being racist? Today the term has nothing to do with race and everything to do with not getting trampled by internationalists and self hating traitors.
I mean when Albo and the others speak. It would be smart politics to drop this issue - it doesn't matter if he means well, people disagree with him, so best to focus on other things.
Well spoken Rita and thanks for pointing out that even the indigenous voted no as they are Australians like the rest of us and they do not want the division promoted by the so called not racist who are calling the majority of Australians racist. Australia is in bad need of a good leader and not these pretenders like Albanese who has managed to divide us more. You can tell by the tweets how bad these people are.
The YES vote can blame Albanese, Burney, Mayo, Teela Green, Marcia Langton, Pearson for their politics of hatred and deceit! Albo needs to consider his future! Why do we have to reconcile anything, we as taxpayers do not feel we have to do anything more. What we need to do is have a forensic audit of where the billions are being paid and to whom because the money is going somewhere but not where it's needed OBVIOUSLY. The states should not be negotiating any treaty they have NO MANDATE!!!!
LMAO, you clearly not aware of the GENDER AGENDA are you? Australia's AMONG THE WORST for man hating. THIS WHOLE THING was a DISTRACTION because the feminist agenda had been CAUGHT OUT, even the PM's name was dropped when one of our lead 'Journalist' was caught out conspiring to drop a FASLE GREAPE ALLEGATION into the news during the campaign cycle. CAUGHT RED HANDED and she dropped HIS NAME, then all a sudden, everyone forgets about that and media dominated by "The Voice" for several months. Look at the "Australian of the year" awards over last decade, look at ANY TV ADD.... tell me there's no agenda there. Spending hundreds of billions on DV and homeless women, when its MEN mostly homeless and the data is starting to show WOMEN abuse men in the home MORE often.. but STILL its like a crime to talk about male suicide.. to talk about ANY male problems, ESPECIALLY if its a result of feminist laws.
Not really unfortunately, we still have essentially affirmative action amongst all major companies who want to meet the ESG goals, and nearly the entire country is run by the Labour Party, with WA bullrushing every bill through parliament with no restriction. This was a good result though
As far as I’m aware it hasn’t quite penetrated that far. But we’re unfortunately accelerating in the wrong direction, abortion has now basically been made legal everywhere, euthanasia is coming if not arrived, and religious freedom is being attacked significantly in every state, with governments trying to force private religious schools to take on LGBT+ staff and students as well as non-religious staff. So there are aspects where we are thankfully behind Europe, but if the government has their way, we won’t be far behind
