The "normal" description wasn't meant to be condescending. I attended a PWI for the exact reasons you listed in addition to the fact I've never been in an all black school before anyway so I knew it would be a major adjustment. I have visited HBCU's and I do notice more camaderie than at PWI's. That's just my opinion though:)

It's definitely different from an HBCU. Unless you live on campus and really get involved you will probably find it boring.

Is this a church service or a step show? This was just ok for me.

I love my sorority, and I say things about other sororities for fun and games. I also beleive in giving props when due, but this was terrible, sorry. My sorors say that oo-oop loud and proud!!

"skate" means to avoid the real process such as hazing. You sign a paper stating you do not want to do the rigous progress. When you do sign this you do not get any type of respect on campus becuase you "skated on y"

i dont think that is actually true, i find that hbcu are good to empower blacks and socially you will be at the top at your game, but i transferred from an hbcu to a "normal" school that you call it, and found out that it was great because in this world you are not just surrounded by blacks, u are surrounded and working with all races so a "normal" school helps you get use to stepping your game up around all race lines.

Alpha Kappa Alpha is not meant for any of the other sororities 2 hate! AKA ws NOT established for tht reason. AKA's r here 2 sho leadership, and the importance of an individual and the strength of an organization of women. Yes, u ladies have show'd all of the above, but u have also show'd things tht I knw Anna Brown, Beulah & Lillie Burke, Marjorie Hill, ect. would not approve of. All I ask is tht ya'll come 2gether n stop all the beef cause @ the end of the day, what r ya'll really beef'n 4?

The organization won't miss your membership and it will continue to go on with or without you. Why do you take playful banter between greeks so seriously?
