As a Romanian, I do appreciate the effort taken by these great dancers to express the vivacity and dynamics of this particular Romanian dance. However, the choreography is rather a personal view of the artistic director (maybe), as , while it retains some of the Romanian dance features, it also departs from time to time from the spirit of it. Nevertheless, the Igor Moiseyev dancers are brilliant no matter the choreography.

Mihai Dumitrescu Și eu la început am avut impresia că văd ceva lipsit de autenticitate, ceva artificial, și un pic stalinist, și nu doar în dansurile de inspirație românească dar în general în toate ce aparțin acestui ansamblu, apoi am înțeles de fapt ce înseamnă acest stil, dansul de caracter, și că nu încearcă să “sovietizeze” dansurile folclorice, ci dimpotrivă, să le aducă pe cele mai înalte culmi, dacă vrei ca o comparație, cum a făcut și Enescu cu muzica folclorică prin Rapsodiile sale. Poate că Moiseyev nu a înțeles pe deplin folclorul românesc, dar până la urmă cine ar putea să o facă. E clar totuși că la simțit, avânt el însuși origini românești, cu toate că puțini dintre noi, românii, am auzit de el și cu atât mai puțini de originile lui.

Asta e un "hibrid" de dans romano-rus..Nu e autentic romanesc..doar muzica lui Enescu e romaneasca .

Culeasă inițial de naistul Anghelus Dinicu, alt muzician din România . Pentru mai multe detalii există internetul. Înainte să o tot dai in stânga și în dreapta cu moldovenii, mai citește.
