hi, Guys. The Orchid tree is a challenging environment for shooters. It is even harder for the cameraman. Jermain did a good job trying to keep up with Jessica. Lots of shootin' going on in this video. Anyway, thanks for sharing! Stay healthy! And keep on shootin'!
These Iguana Sniper videos are very entertaining. I took the time to research the air rifles these ladies are using. Very sophisticated to say the least. For the average air weapon enthusiast these weapons would represent what I would describe as the top of the segment. The average person probably won't obtain one. Not to say there aren't folks that can't wait to get their hands on one of these rifles. The accuracy is amazing. I bet that there are air rifles out there that would do the job for much less cost. The only advantage of the units used in these videos is the obviously low report when fired. That would be an advantage in most cases.
I did use cheaper ones before this....that's how I got to these guns....The Brocock line has been so very forgiving with my abusive ways on my equipment. The guns are so accurate, that I can confidently take shots near VERY expensive property without concern of damage. I especially use the Atomic because of it's predictable low power but still has the capability to take iguanas humanely. thanks for watching Keith
Nice shooting,Jessica,as always. I can see why you choose the rifles you do.Rugged, well built, accurate.I would love to be pluggin some iguanas.Unfortunately, I dont have any up north of the mason dixon. Thanks 4 sharing!
what I enjoy most about Jessica is her unpretentious demeanor and her resolve to serve her community by eliminating the destruction and filth these ugly invasive creatures cause in South Florida. i just hope she doesn't eat them
Since you did not say it I will, "Gotcha Iguana!!!" Great Job Jessica, GJJ!!! Jerome Do you any other talking or announcing as you have Unique Voice!!! Voice overs pays nice!!!!
Wow I gotta give it to ya.....those were some hard ass headshots to make....other people that I've seen would have just gave them a bunch of body shots.....serious props to ya
If you review the footage , you'll see that there are several more iguanas up in both of those trees. As always Jessica you did an amazing job thinning the herd. Better than I could have done on my best day I am sure. Good show.
More videos, love your determination. You are a resource saving the FL environment. The governor should recognize you and your fellow environmentalists for the good you All do. Thank you both for your well produced videos and great , to the point commentary. Truly appreciate you both.
Love the intro! I lived in Fla. in the 80's (New Port Richey), it's sad to see how non-native wildlife is pushing out the natives. Way to go you two! ❤
I have missed your sharp shooting and Germaine’s top commentary I haven’t had ant new episodes so thought you were having time off But it seams I have had no notifications for nearly a month 😢 😍😍👍👍
Was wondering what cal. You are using and what weight. I often wonder about where your missed shots go....meaning there are a lot of cars and house windows around that would scare me.
I have been waiting for you to return, this is the first I have seen a vid from you. I hope we continue to get more from you and your camera guy, Jermaine, I believe his name is if not I sincerely apologize. Keep up your efforts to save our great state of Florida
Love the new graphics and sounds Jermaine, nice job. I'm impressed with your ability to see those creatures and get that camera trained on it so we get that up close view. Brilliant
I bet if Jessica had her eyes examined, she would find out she can see much better than most. It is truly amazing how she can see them critters, then proceed to nail them in the head, time after time.
Once you have the scope setup, it's just a matter of getting the Iguana in the crosshairs. I am not a great shot, but with the scope and there is no kickback on a pellet gun, I hardly ever miss.
Love the video, especially the opening. Jessica just love your marksmanship in the difficult conditions of wind, moving branches and bright sunlight. Love the comments and camera work.
A lot of work went into the beginning and it was fun to watch. Thanks! More or less reminds me of sooting galleries, everything moving all the time. Great timing and shooting. Look forward to more surprises.
OMG you are amazing. Wind blowing, tree swaying. branches getting in the way---and you still inflict lethal lead poisoning on the climbing critters. Good job!
Jessica, have you considered using either a mono or bipod shooting stick to help steady your aim and shots? I know you are a very good shooter; but, I am wondering if a shooting stick could help you be even better. I love to watch you shoot and bring them down.
It's good to see that your team didn't suffer any ill effects of hurricane Ian and that you are back out and at it. Do the Iguana's suffer any kind of displacement after a storm like that? I take my hat off to Jessica she has the eye's like a shite hawk, especially with the wind blowing the branches around like that and hitting such a small target to such devastating effect. Oh, and the shorts are a nice touch too 😉
I heard your ending music on another channel yesterday about dash-cam footage of idiots/road rage drivers and thought "HEY, that is Jessica's music, what are YOU doin' playin' it!"
Lady got to make a living and she’s doing something she loves. Her eyesight must be very good. I’m thinking she sees iguana dollar signs through her scope.
Great shootin' esp. for such a windy day, I've watched alot of your videos. The branching of the orchid tree makes for netting - and some that don't make it to the ground are going have an aroma after a few days in the sun lol.
Lead. I usually shoot sub 20 FPE so I don't expect them to go over 50 yards in those instances, especially after passing through the iguana. They do often stop in the iguana with the atomic
That is some EXCELLENT off hand shooting young lady! You're all welcome in my camp any day. If I stepped out of the house with that rig where I live in CA I'd be arrested in a second. Makes me want to head to south FL and lend you guys a hand!
