Continuing my journey with the new truck, I begin taking the steps to tear out the old floor for replacement. As shown, it was definitely on its last leg! We cut out the rusted spots, removed the old doghouse piece, and headed to Home Depot for some sheet metal. After cutting it to fit, it was welded in, and a clean piece of steel was removed from the old toolbox for the new doghouse floor. A bit of rubber undercoating was sprayed over top, and it looks good as, if not better than new! In the next video, the new floor will be installed as the cab is put back together!
